Maybe they are, I didn't even try. I never had much luck pushing the pins in on the old buttons. Seemed like it was hard to get them perfectly flush and the button was prone to hanging up at times. I was afraid of a meltdown.
Boy, this new hardware hits a ton, doesn't it? I may have to make some adjustments to my juice. I got a little light-headed right off the bat after the upgrade.:)

Yeah Roger the difference is pretty noticeable. You have one damn efficient mod now my man :)

If you don't want to adjust your juice, the other alternative is to wind a slightly higher ohms coil to get same vape as before but with slightly better battery life.

I rebuilt my grand yesterday. It didn't have a washer in it when I took it apart. When I rebuilt it I could not get the washer off so I used SXD's way. I noticed afterward the washer is folded on the side. It seems to work alright tho.

Does it make a big difference? If so what difference? Should I get another rebuild kit and start over?

Your all set the extra white washer is there for the people who over tighten there atomizers . Its a fail safe to prevent a metal to metal dead short in the mod . I haven't always used these . If people followed my method they wouldn't be damaging there gaskets .

But what sport would that be?

You must have 50 mods heading your way for a refit! LMAO - some of which needed rebuilds anyway, but that's besides the point.
If the kit has a gasket, a pin and a bread roll, then it's pretty clear that you don't rip out the mod to the bare metal - you replace the pin and the gasket and have a bread roll with a coffee and a vape!

Otherwise - you don't.

The Oasis Reo kit - you get a roll wiv it

I just did two - an original and a 2.1. It worked fine with a little fiddling!

Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

everything works! I didn't screw it up! yeay!

I was using 1.4-1.5ish coils before- wrapped some 1.9s last night and flavor is blah.. need coffee, then I'll get the coils down.

eta: 1.6ish is where it's at! (for me)

Thanks for the cool vid Supe! It was a HUGE help!

I got a little ham-fisted w/ the flathead method of seating the gasket w/ the pin, gasket & wafer together. Like many I trashed the wafer. Fortunately, I was able to re-use the old one.

After reading further into the thread (which I should have done in the first place) I finally seated the gasket first w' the old reversed pin trick & got the Grand Cookin':headbang: .....I'll do the 2.1 tomorrow!

This new, improved uber-mod is schweet! I normally vape a 1 ohm rob-coil ....I gave one extra wrap of 28ga for a 1.3 ohm coil that hits as good if not better than 1 ohm w/ the old contacts! (and I should get better battery life ..YIPEE!)

Hats off to Rob for the improvement!

Thank you for the great video! I really appreciate how you express yourself and your humility. You rock, Reo friend. Switched out my mini and yes, it is amazing!! Can't remember, does my Naalox now need to go in the drawer now?

Thank you. :). Some say noalox some don't. I've not had to use it on my daily driver grand that operates in the 1.2 to 1.6 ohm range :)

I'm glad because it's fairly messy :)
