Look banging on my Grand, just thought I'd share that with y'all!! I bought 11 SS ones of various shapes and sizes off the classy' s and I've been switching them all day. Hubs thought I was nuts when I was saying " here put this 1 in your mouth" it's the little things that make me happy!

Things that make me sad... finding out a few days ago that my childhood friend/1st love was diagnosed with cancer last week and its so far throughout his body that they are only giving him meds to manage the pain. He quit smoking years ago after both parents passed due to cancer. It all just sucks and I am so thankful that I have my REO, not sure it will save my life but it might. So any praying folks if you could pray for him and his family it would be appreciated.

Update on my friend, sadly he passed away in his home at 11:30 this morning less than 2 weeks after being diagnosed with cancer. Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers.

You have my condolences Sennie. I know this is a hard time for you. Lean on family and friends and feel the love! Hugs

Thank you everyone. I spoke with Lisa yesterday and she gave me an idea on how to honor my friend. In our last conversation we talked about art but mostly wildlife art. He was an artist who owned a tattoo shop/ art studio, I am a photographer. Art of different mediums. So I have decided to honor him by taking some time to shoot completely from my heart with him in mind not what would sell. Also I want to take a couple of days and drive up to Iowa and shoot the bridges that he'd suggested to me a while back. I hope my way of honoring him isn't silly but if it is, he would just laugh and tell me I was being goofy so it would honor him either way. :)

Sounds good to me. Shoot from the heart for a heart to heart connection with a universal truth. He'll be pleased. and don't forget to take your lens cap off. You look silly raising the camera to your eye, seeing black then looking around to see if anyone noticed. Don't need anymore loose nuts behind the viewfinder. Have a safe trip.

hahahahaha for real! I've actually done that during a shoot with a client. I didn't realize I put the cap back on because I usually shove it in my back pocket lifted the camera and he said lens cap. All I could do was laugh at myself because that already screamed unprofessional! lol

I do that all the time and I use my back pocket too. Whats worse is being on av exposure mode and accidently hitting the shutter button with the lens cap on, yawn..wake me up when the shutter closes....argghhhh
