I recieved my new e-cig this morning and so far no real cigs have been required by me :).

The problem I'm finding is that the first toke gives out what I would expect from a new M401 atty (from what I've heard basically) but the second gives less and the third less until I have to put it down and leave it for a bit.

Is this normal?

Not sure if this is what you're experiencing or not since I don't have a M401 ... but that happens with my Joye 510. Not quite that quickly but it does happen. I've attributed it to the atty getting hot and needing to cool. Set it down for a bit (and it cools) ... pick it up again 10 minutes or so later and wah-lah nice vapor.

That sounds pretty much like what I'm finding. I bought 2 atty's so maybe it's just this one. It wasn't doing this this morning.

I hear these things are pretty tempramental.

Yep!! sounds like to me the bridge on the atty has pushed down the filler in the cart and the cart is not making good contact with the bridge. with an open paper clip push down along the inside edge of cart and pull filler up just a dat this should help!!......goots luck.....Hecknaw

Thanks to all responses to this post but your answer was the solution. Just push the cart up into the atty when this happens. I use a paperclip, works a treat!

The guy who posted how to use a different wool answered my next question so thanks to you too man.

Cheers guys, this is working nice for me now.

Actually, if you have a 401, whenever you put a new cart on, use a paperclip and push the cart onto the atty as a matter of course via that little breath hole at the end.
