Hi all,

Have been reading this forum for some time before finally getting one for my own.
Got myself a Joytech eGo-C Starter Kit. It really works and the smoke effect is wonderful!
Haven't had the urge to light up the 'analog' since then.

This is my first post and I have a question regarding the 'atomizer' (read from the manual) and was wondering how long will it last before I have to change another one? The kit came with 5 of them.

Will I know the difference before changing? Or is there a time limit or any form of changes that I can reference.

Please help a newbie out and thanks in advanced! :)

I think attys and carto's are kind of wonky in that some last 3 days and some last 3 months. It depends on a lot of things like how dark or thick or sweet your juices are and how hot you burn it or even your vaping style. I don't think anyone can truly answer this question. One things for sure tho. Make sure you order in plenty of time before you run out because nothing would be worse than finding out the last 2 of the 5 are duds or something. QC is not very good in this industry as of yet. Hope this helps and welcome to the ECF:)

I have no experience with the Ego C but it works very similar to a regular ego t atomizer, so I would imagine one would last at least a month, but likely even longer. I have some regular 510 atomizers that I have been using for around three months and they still work fine. The thing to keep in mind when it comes to atomizers is that they don't just "die" all the sudden (usually). Instead they gradually become dirty, and and get clogged and cause all kinds of problems. So if you clean them they could be almost like new again. I recommend boiling them but ive heard of a few other methods too. Hope this helps

Wow thanks for the quick replies! This forum sure is friendly.

@Dana A: Exactly what I was thinking! To keep a healthy supply so I won't run out X)

@PG19: I didn't know they can be washed! Because they came wrapped and covered with some sort of liquid (oil I assume), I thought they had to be kept damp at all times. Thanks for the tip! I'll try boiling too when it starts to get dirty and clogged.

Hey Pathetix,

I just wanted to point out that the atomizers in the eGo-C kit are a little different than standard atomizers. Yours probably look like this:

eGoC.jpg

And you got five of the atomizer "heads" in a blister pack that seat into a little base cap, correct?

I have no idea if you can wash these out like standard atomizers, I don't use them, but I just wanted to save you some potential headache & misunderstanding when talking about atomizers with people who may not be familiar with eGo-C. Standard 510 atomizers that look like this:

510atomizer.jpg

The two systems are interchangeable...you just remove the ego-c base plate and screw a standard 510 atty in...I just wanted to mention it in case you weren't aware.

Happy Vaping =)

@Greykin: Wow thanks for the detailed description! I really appreciate it. I thought all the atomizers were more or less the same.

Now I get what they meant by 'Changeable Atomizer System' stated on the official site. Yes you are right mine looks like that. So they are called atomizer head hur?

This means I can go look for other atomizers type as long as they fit my standard 510 battery. (If that even makes sense lol)

Hi! Sorry I don't really understand what you mean by 'dry burning' it?
With fire? LOL Sorry I'm such a noob.

A dry burn is when you power on your PV with atty attached but no juice. Basically your burning off any residual juice that was in the atty. Or something like that.
