New e-cigarette user from New Jersey

I started using e-cigarettes a week ago today. My wife has been using them for about 2 months and I decided to give them a try. We use the Green Smoke with the battery and disposable cartomizers. I have been reading through the various forums and I am really surprised how big of a deal this e-cigarette thing is. I had no idea of the many different types. I thought they were all like what I have and the disposable ones since that's all I see in my area. Well I guess I can learn all there is to know about e-cigarettes here.

Welcome to the world of vaping!
It takes time to figure everything out. What will annoy you is the fact that "blu" or "greensmoke" charge far more than these things will cost if you know where to look. Their devices are nothing special and you can buy batteries and cartomizers anywhere. The only difference from one brand to another is the flavors. If you want to use the prefilled cartos, you can buy them from whoever you prefer, but the batteries, chargers, mods, chargers, etc. can be bought anywhere. There are adapters for a buck or two that will allow you to attach any cartomizer, atomizer, tank, clearomizer to any battery or mod.
In most veteran e-smoker's opinions, you need bigger, more powerful batteries and/or mods to get away from cigarettes.
vaping has saved my life and it has become fun. I will never go back to analog cigarettes.
The good thing is that the technology seems to get better with time and the cost of all your devices seem to be going down.

Welcome Jersey and congratulations!!! I would suggest going to the brick-and-mortar store and talk to them about the different setups that are available and what you like, or more likely dislike, about what you have now. These guys are typically pretty knowledgeable and can give you the in's and outs of different setups - plus it's very cool (and cost effective) to be able to tryout different flavors without having to pay for ones you might think you would like but don't. And it's just fun to meet other vapers! Their prices probably won't be the lowest you can find, but that's why there's the internet You can also get good information about different vendors here on the ECF to help decide who to buy from if you go that route.

I'm not very far from Tuckerton. I'm in the Smithville section of Galloway so I can just hop on the Parkway exit to Rt 9 and be there is 20 minutes or so. I'll check that shop out. Thanks.
