Received mine today. Very nice indeed. I have been trying to find those long drip tips, all sold out, so these must be popular. It is on the heavy side, so I dare say it seems to be a man device, hoorah!

Long drip tip you say?.... 8 inch Churchwarden stem.. it MAKES the pipe experience.

Heads up on the Smok epipe. This may be old info for some but I just found out about it today. As many know, flat top batteries work fine positive side up in this but a button top will make it auto-fire. That can be fixed by unscrewing the top metal cap, and raising up the plastic white piece inside by unscrewing it a bit. Put the metal cap back on and button top 18350s work rightside up without auto-firing. Easy fix that works.

Cool... the alternative is to put the button top in the other way positive to the cap side.

That does work, but I was never comfortable with it. Doing so reverses the polarity, making the mod the postive instead of the negative. The bodies of batteries are negative, so using the mod as the postitive would cause a dangerous hard short if any of the wrapping on the battery worn away to expose the battery side, since the electricty would flow out of and back into the battery with almost zero resistance.

Is that church warden drip tip from e pipe mods??

No it's one a buddy made for me. He buys the stems and mods them to fit as drip tips with an o-ring, and adds the bend to it.

Great info Jerms. Lemme ask you this....with this modification, do the flat tops still work? I'm gonna guess that they will, but just want to make sure ;) The only thing that has kept me from getting one is the whole reverse polarity deal with the button tops....and I know the hubby will snag it and won't pay a lick of attention as to which batt he grabs to put in it

Good question let me check... yep, still works with flat tops without adjusting it again.
