Too bad software can't fix a head that pops off when you drop it.
In all fairness, most electronic devices are not really meant to be dropped though

That being said, I've dropped mine twice, both times about 2 feet/60 cm to a concrete and a hardwood floor, it survived both times, didn't even turn off, which surprised me.
I think, like with most electronics, it's all about the angle it's in, when it lands, that seals its fate.
Edit: Oh, and thanks for the link OP, seems like 1.3 will have some nice additions
Edit 2: Quick summary.
The guy talks about the new features of eVic 1.3 firmware (well duh), including how you can add a couple of new things to the home screen. In addition to the puff counter, apparently you can set some sort of puff time counter/limiter.
Also, profiles can be set, so that if you prefer a certain clearo/
tank with a certain flavor at a certain wattage/voltage, you can make a preset and then select that preset when you use that clearo/
tank. Kinda clever, I guess. Don't think it can auto-determine it though.
Stealth mode is shown, where the screen stays off while
vaping.
Battery percentage can be displayed as an icon, instead of the current percentage.
