So I wouldn't my consider myself a heavy smoker by any means. I can go weeks or even a month or two without having a single one but if i go out to a bar or am just drinking on the weekends, there's a good chance i'll be craving one like crazy and if I do end up buying a pack, it'll most likely be gone before the weekend's over.

While not detrimental, it defintely was having an effect on the hour of cardio kickboxing i do 4-5 days a week and in an effort to try and be more healthy overall, i was at a loss on what to do. For me it's not the nicotine addiction so much as it is the physical act of smoking a cigarette and either just stepping out of the bar for a while or socializing. I've tried gum or even snuse in the past but it never really did it for me. When one of my coworkers picked up an ecigarette kit (albeit this was from the stand at the mall), i immediately became intrigued.

After 2 or 3 nights of reading about them and browsing the forums, i decided on the KR808D-1 for ease of use and relatively good reviews. Found that mist stix seemed to have the best deal at the time with a forum discount and ended up getting the kit plus and additional 5 carts for about 40 shipped. 2 days later it was delivered to my house and just in time for Friday night.

Friday i was out with some friends and Saturday i went to a party. Both nights this thing not only held up like a champ but it left me with no desire to bum a cigarette from anyone else. I'll review the product itself when i'm able to post in other forums but I'm extremely impressed with battery and cart life. The overall e-cig experience for me is turning out to be extremely positive and i feel that as long as I bring one of these things out with me that I'll be able to completely avoid buying packs or bumming off someone else!

You sound more like your addicted to the social and physical aspects of smoking and not the nicotine....are you using the 0mg nicotine juice? alot of us started vaping to get a safer way to tame our nicotine addictions then cigarettes....using the 0mg juice could save you from the horrible addiction we deal with everyday....Plus it comes in most of the same flavors...so really why not?

Yeah I agree 100%, if you're more addicted to the social aspects of smoking rather than the actual death-stick itself, by all means start off with 0 nicotine juice. If that doesn't satisfy your craving then move to the next lowest nicotine-saturated juice.

Believe me, the last thing you want is to be addicted to smoking numerous cigarettes per day. If the social smoking aspect is all you crave, the go with 0 nicotine, and if you're satisfied then vape instead of smoking.

Thanks for the comments guys-

I've got about 3 or 4 other people from work really intersted in this now. When i was out i did get a very worried look from the person who's house we happened to be in at the time when she walked into the kitchen and I was sitting there puffing away.

In regards to the nicotine i do plan on getting the low or 0 mg carts next time. The kit came with 16mg cartomizers. I'll have to see how it goes without any nicotine at all as there is still a relaxing element to it for me as well so i may still go with something low like the 8's...

People at work see me in my office, "smoking," and it does make their eyes go a bit wide. So far, the sprinkler system hasn't gone off and there haven't been any visits from the Anti-Smoking Police. :)
