I got 4 of the purple 35 amp 2500 mAh Efest batteries from Amazon, stuck them in my LUC 4 charger, and when they were charged I put one in my Stingray mech. Nothing. It would not fire at all. I tried the other batteries, they will not fire it either, no way, no how. I put one of them in my old Sigelei 24 that I don't use anymore, and it would fire that, but not my Stingray, at all. So it would appear that these batteries are different in some way from the other Efest batteries I got from Amazon, those being the 20 amp 3100 mAh ones. I wanted more of those, but Amazon doesn't have them anymore, so I got these batteries instead, and they don't work in my mech. Whatever the difference, they will not work in my Stingray mech at all. I'm returning them. This shouldn't be happening.

when you have the battery installed in the Stingray, do they rattle a bit when the mod is shaken? if so there should be an adjustment to snug up the battery and allow the + pin to touch the top of the battery... and.. are the new batteries the protected type? ( dont know the type of batteries you have)... if they are protected, then the protection chip may be doing its job due to low ohms... just a thought. :)

The 2500mah efest is a re wrapped and erroneously labeled LG HE2 that has an actual 20a CDR.
The 3100 mah efest is another re wrapped & erroneously labeled cell with at best a 10a CDR, several batches have been tested and found to be using a 6.8a CDR cell.
There isn't any way for a person without testing before use to be sure which amp rate their 3100mah efest battery is.

Caution should be exercised so as to not equal or exceed the amp draw of their actual capabilities especially when using a mechanical.
I'd suggest buying batteries from only reputable dealer / vendors.

I'd go one step further and suggest never buying efest and only buying proven batteries from reputable vendors. With how cheap batteries are, there's no reason to pay almost as much money for terrible equipment.

It sounds like the batteries are ok if they are working in one device.
If they do not work on your mechanical mod then it is more likely to be the mod at fault, not the batteries.
You really should try adjusting the switch and 510 on your mod before attempting a return.
If i was the seller then i would refuse to accept the batteries back now they have been used, especially if the buyer told me that they only work in certain devices (which is a bizarre statement in itself).
Good luck...

The batteries went back to Amazon this morning, and before I went to bed I found the 4 other batteries I really wanted on Amazon, one-click ordered them. They were the only four they had and I got them! Guys, I tried all the things you are suggesting without success. I think this mod is just made in such a way that those particular batteries won't fire it.

When I can put battery A in and it fires, then switch straight to battery B and it won't, and battery B does fire another mech, I just figure the mech is the issue, and it's not made to use those batteries. The batteries themselves are not defective, they just won't work in my Stingray, and I'm not going to buy another mech just to use those batteries, nor am I going back to that Sigelei 24.

The atty is not shorted or battery A would not have fired it. The bottoms of the two batteries are different and that might be a factor, idk, but the 35 amp ones are on the way back, and the ones that do work are on their way to me.
