New eGo-c battery problem. Am I missing something?

I got an eGo-c kit that came with 2 batteries, 5 tank tips, 5 atomizers and the charger. Basically 2 whole units. Anyway, one battery is acting up. When I screw it into the charger there's nothing. No red light or green light. If I turn it about an eighth to a quarter turn out of the charger the red light comes on and the blue light in the button lights up. Initially I figured it needed to be in that position to charge for whatever reason. Left it overnight, red light still on blue light on button off. Screwed/unscrewed it a few times - no change. took it off the charger and put the unit together to see if it would work-no dice. BUT when i tried to use it the blue light in the buttin would flicker VERY quickly and faintly.

Now, I know the first thing to do is read the directions but this instruction book was apparently translated from Chinese by somebody that learned English in a Japanese POW camp during World War II; I can't understand a damn thing.

Any thoughts?

LOL.

Obviously, if only one battery acts like that it must be defective. Contact the retailer.
