New ego c twist and Vivi Nova not working.

OK all this is new to me. Real new. Charged my ego c twist for 5 hours. How do you know when it is fully charged? Anyway, put juice in my new Vivi nova and connected to the battery. Well absolutely nothing is happening. I'm probably missing something very basic, but have no idea what it is.
Why don't these blasted things come with instructions?! Ah! I just thought charge the battery and connect to Vivi nova and thats it.
Guess not.
So click the button 5 times in one and a half seconds. Anything else? I'm lost here.
Any help is appreciated.

As far as the charging goes, your ego charger light should switch permanently to green. When it's charging it's red and blinks green every few seconds. As far as the battery not working with the vivi nova, that happened to me with an ego-t battery, it might be a connection problem. You might need to pull up the post on your twist.

I had the same issue on a T3 but noticed in the description that they may not work without a 510/ego adapter. I got one here and it works great.
