I baught a new set of ego 650 s it is the 650 battery and uses the 510 cartimizer or atomizers/ cartridges I am happy with it for the most part at first when I used a prefilled cartridge and one of my atomizers it was great but got harsh and burned my throat not long later I then filledy cartridge but still had trouble. I read on these forums to put a few drops into the atomizer so I did and it worked great. For about 10 puffs then went harsh and burned my throat again. I have been using it for a few days now. But it seemes like even if it's full I have to put a drop or two into the atomizer every time I want to use it or it will burn my throat even tho my cartridge is very full. I also tried a cartomizer which worked great for the first 15 or 20 puffs but now just burns the heck out of my throat even when I re fill it. I am not talking about throat hit ither in fact I am unable to get a good throat hit because it stings my throat befor I get Enough vapor. I have tried new atomizers and new cartridges but to no avail. It seems that it does not wick properly and I have also tried pulling the wick up in the cart but no real difference. Worst part is my sister baught two and they seem fine with the same juice, Although I haven't tested them much as mine. Just wondering if I can get some advice also would like to know if I would be better off with a tank addon as I might just take to big of hits to satisfy my throat hit. Thanks for the help I looked around the forum for a few days but can't find an answer to my specific problem.

Ya that's what I thought but alli can find is videos about the ego-t an I've tried 2 differentt atomizers and several different cartridges and also a low resistance cartomerzer that obv has the atomizer built in and had the same problem with everything
You'll find that most do not use the atty/cartridge set up anymore. It's just a poor system. Most use atomizers for direct dripping like you did when you weren't getting a good hit. And when it starts to taste a bit burnt....repeat. It's the best for flavor but too repetative for on the go and longer vaping sessions.
Your cartomizer really needs to be filled well the first time. After that, you can top off when the flavor starts to go down. Experience will tell you when to fill and when you have overfill. How thick your liquid is and how dark it is will also impact how well the cartomizer wicks. Good luck. Are you sure you correctly filled the carto, and fully filled the carto?
It sounds like it was too dry which will give a nasty burnt taste and can be rough on the throat.

Thanks for the advice so far I just think its strange how I got straight from it being good to burning my throat then wen I wet the atomizer it's perfect again instantly even with a very full cartridge befor and after and yhat I've had the same problem with multiple atomizers, cartridges and cartomizers but have great success with my sisters e cig
