I have been 'off' this thread for a while now...
I have been using my eGo T (A type) only with half full tanks... Because once, as I started reading this thread I read this made for a better similar-to-dripping experience... And then I just got used to do it this way...
My questions for the gurus; Cozzicon, ournature, etc.:
1. Is this so? What is the reason for this, if so? If not, why was this posted by many...?
(Other questions)
2. Is there any necessary vaping technique as far as holding your unit vertical/horizontally in terms of an effective performance?
3. Is it common for your atty to require a few seconds/ minutes between puffs as to 'recharge' its liquid; meaning should you keep a special rythm as to let your atty wick? - Is there any way to improve wicking via a technique of moving your PV; puffing on an un-activated batt, etc?
Please, please reply...!
=)
Thanks!
Well- I'll do my best to answer.
1. I fill my tanks to 90% full with no problem.
As background, I have burned through 4 atties 2 were very good, two were not as good. Both were acceptable. I'm on my 5th atty now... and it's pretty amazing. The difference between "good" and "acceptable" is how they handle 50/50 PG/VG mixes. The "acceptable" atties came up to par with 70/30 PG/VG mixes. Also, my 50/50 juices aren't exactly 50/50 because Flavour Art is suspended in PG. So with the way I mix it's probably 53/47PG/VG. Vendor juices, claiming 50/50, I usually assume are around that 53/47 PG/VG mark because most flavors are suspended in PG.
2. Slow and long seems to work best for me. Position hasn't made much of a difference. I've never had a leak. Storage has historically been done horizontally. When I carry the unit... I put it in my pocket tip DOWN- this is because people have *said* they leak... and I'd like to avoid that.
3. Not often. I think I vape pretty hard on these and I *have* vaped them to dryness. But that was really honking on them. I've found that that action of moving them from a horizontal resting position to actual use causes a breaking of the vacuum in the tank and releases more juice onto the wick.
Haven't done any modding... errm... well I tried a wick adjustment on an atty that was already dead from a months use. But other than that... No problems.
Now on my second round of atties my newest atty is performing massively.
