Well, I'm happy with the short wick. So I'm gonna grab some of the old ones.

Did anything other than the tube plastic change in the new short-wicked ones?

P.S. Looks to me like the long wicks are the same as in the ViVi heads? I dunno... The wicking of the Vivi was not quite as good as the Stardust.

P.P.S. Are the new tubes going to come in colors eventually?

the wicking in these is fine, its the same wick that has been in the stardust the whole time

yes colors will come once more of the older stock is depleted and there are more surprises coming, this was just a normal upgrade that was needed but big surprises are ahead.

Okay, so I'm noob and confused. You still have the warning about juices cracking the tubes. These new tubes don't eliminate this?

I'm glad the plastic was updated but is still clear, I defiantly like the crystal clear look. I have the version 2 with the metal tip inside and have had no issues! I think I might order a few in case I don't like the updated ones!

What does the longer wick make it better? Pretty happy with the regular one, but.....
