First sentence on new FDA tobacco product webpage deceitfully claims “tobacco use is the single largest preventable cause of disease and death in the United States” (its cigarette smoking), falsely portrays OTP (and e-cigs) as more addictive and harmful than cigarettes, and target marketed to youth.
Recognize Tobacco in its Many Forms?

So the gum, patches and the inhalers aren't tobacco products since they aren't mentioned? But dissolvables are? And are these dissolvables the same as BP's lozenges, or was the article referring to some other dissolvable product? If lozenges are included as a form of tobacco, why aren't the other nicotine replacement products mentioned? I'm confused.

I don't think they are talking about NRT lozenges. They are tobacco lozenges.

Hard to disagree with what you are saying.

But also hard to disagree with what FDA is saying as no one here is citing links, but just putting forth (alleged) facts as if saying it is reason enough to take it as truth.

What ticks me off, is the argument that e-cigs have not been proven to be safe. Well, they have proven to be safe up to this point in time, the ANTZ just refuse to acknowledge it. The most important point, is that they haven't been proven to be unsafe. That should be enough "evidence" for the FDA to let them be.
