New Fluxomiser - Burnt atty taste +70% of the time

I played with them some more last night after taking a 12 hour break from them. I can only can stand them in my VV unit turned all the way down. Not sure if I am just oversensitive to that type of coil they are using but no matter what if it is not at a low setting or if I put it on my eGo I can taste at least a hint of it.

I actually use CE2's almost exclusively now. The only thing I can offer here is that IMO you cannot use these things with high voltage, period. Anything over about 4.2 and they aren't gonna work right at all and will taste like burnt cat. You could have scorched them if you hit them with anything over that, then they would need a hot water cleaning and a dry burn to fix them up. There are still occasional quality problems for various reasons.

i use the 2.8 to 3.0 at 3.6 to 4.0 volts havent tried the 3.2's yet

I'm having good success w/ fluxomizer 2.6 ohm at 3.7v.
Using thin 100% PG w/ Coumarin Pipe flavor; wicks good.
3-4 second toots.
Getting decent flavor.
All the TH I can handle by adjusting nic.
Vapor production similar to analog.
Does not produce dense warm vapor like 1.6ohm dual coil.
Draw is nice and light.
Does not use much juice.
Only decent leak free device I've ever used.
Looks cool.

I'm tootin on this CE2-X 5 non-stop.

CE2-X is nice when in the mood for a nice light vape. Amazing how CE2 will wick down to the last drop.

Dual coil can't be beat when in the mood for rich warm dense vape.

There is room for both in my PV family.

My attys are getting lonely; I'll give them quality time next time I'm cooking some DIY flavors.

These are the days for vapers...good times.

I don't do the clears, they crack for me so I only use the stainless. Otherwise I would take them. Put 'em in the classys and they'll be gone before the night is over.

Yeah, I think your long draws are the answer. You can probably get away with that when they are full, but other than that the wicking can't keep up. I hit 6 seconds sometimes, maybe 4 seconds mostly.

you can always turn it upside down for 3 to 4 seconds for a quick manual re wick

#3 that I just filled taste a lil funky...time will tell if it clears up.

the #3 CE2-X juice is flavorless 12mg.

i moved coil away from support wall w/ toothpick in #3; #3 still tastes funky.

i direct drip on #3 coil; still tastes funky.

i extracted juice from #3 and dripped on clean atty; juice taste clean on atty.

hmmm...maybe Debian and myself are crazy or something funky is going on.

Think i'll clean #3 w/ PGA when i get a chance.

Disassembled #3
cleaned in ultrasonic w/ alcohol
saw gunk on coil
few dry burns
topped off w/ 12 mg flavorless

good news...#3 now taste clean and working perfect.
