New? Forget the B.S. Buy a RIVA! I did and I'm glad I did.

I'm new at vaping and I freakin' love it.
I mean, it does not get any better than taking a leap of faith and trying a new product that no one you know has tried and then actually liking it better than originally intended. I have seen these e-cigs out there and tried maybe 1 or 2 and they were pretty generic. But I knew the source and figured they would be generic.
But through it's genericicity, I realized it would be way cooler if the thing actually worked! So I researched for about 2 months.
I read tons of threads on here and other websites. This one is the best by far with the most information. But I have read a bunch of horror stories. Stories about stuff like Blu Cigs. I'd steer clear of these guys, and I did, and I'm very happy I did because I found the RIVA.
The RIVA is a pure beast. Ever since the first pull off this I haven't been able to put it down. AND, I haven't been able to really PICK UP an actual tobacco cigarette (analog). I have smoked prolly 15 analogs since the 30th of december so... if that tells ya anything. I smoked a pack + a day and I don't even miss it.
But, I bet if I would have bought a generic piece of crap like a lot of people end up doing I'd still be forkin over the $$$$ for analogs. So... skip all the hassle, buy a RIVA. usually can be bought for <$50. I bought mine through VaporJunction.com and they have kick ... customer support/service. RIVA! get it.

Finding the right hardware is one of the most important decisions that those new to vaping face, and with the amazingly fast growth of the eCig industry, the choices that present themselves is enormous. I, like many others here on ECF, have spent a considerable amount of time and money searching out the hardware (and juices) that work best. I'm glad to hear that you have found the PV that works for you, and wish you success in your vaping journey.

Congrats on finding your nirvana !!

HaHa...... I find it funny when someone comes on the forum and declares statements like this, only because there are wayyyyyyyyy too many different personalities and expectations to qualify such. I have many acquaintances that use generics (successfully), and find "those" the cats patoot, and also praise them to the masses. They aren't interested in the least in other devices and swear that THEIR's is the best. On the other hand, I also have many that keep jumping around with mods (myself included) make something more personal to THEM for use.

So really, it boils down to WHAT meets their satisfaction level to beat the stinkies as well as WHAT appeases they're desire in a replacement from smoking in aesthetics, performance, and customer support. There is NO single perfect device for EVERYONE, but thanks for sharing YOURS.

Whatever one decides on..... Kudos for taking that direction to achieve their goals.

VapeOn,
Greg

Congratulations on your new found love
and
Welcome to ECF. Glad you found us.

Your statement, "The Riva is a pure Beast" gave me a chuckle. Many people like the Riva / eGo models. Some people don't care for them. I think you have started off with a pv that will provide you with many months of vaping.

Happy Vaping,
Paula

I, too, am now a lover of the Riva! I've had several PV's and the Riva, my most recent aquisition (thank you Santa), is my newest favorite. The vapor production is great, the flavor is full, and that battery life is something wicked. Parts are readily available for the Riva, which makes life even more convenient.
Although, everyone does have very different preferences and tastes and I know there will be other models for me in the future, I do agree that EVERYONE should own a Riva. It stilll may not become your main PV, but it is quite impressive, and not to be missed.

Works for me. I gave everybody in my family that still smokes a PV for Christmas presents. Either a RIVa or an eGo, (Kit). Gottum from wherever they were cheapest. Going out of business sales, direct from China, and Liberty Flights sales. I've been using VV as well as other Mods for months myself, but still occasionally use one of the mass produced Mods just for alittle variation. Each of the presents also included an ECF business card, and a few 3 mL samples of juice. Also, let everyone know if they needed anything else, instructions, more juice, etc, to get in touch with me. I'd have just loved to have given a ProVari to everybody. . .but I'm too cheap. . .and would still be waiting on Christmas presents to arrive to deliver. I like simple, no fuss vaping. I don't drip, I don't bypass, and I've personally never met an atty I've liked. Got about a gross of Clear Carto's, E2R5's, on the way. Been using one for past couple days, (my weekend). When they arrive I'll charge um up with my favorite cinnamon DIY and go a calling on everyone I gave PV presents too. You don't have to do what I do, or what I want. But, that's all your a gonna get outta me. JMHO

Cheers,
otrpu

The Riva was the right PV for me just starting out. Easy to use, not a lot of parts to bother with, durable (my fiance has dropped his on numerous occasions and it still vapes like a champ), great vapor and flavor. I would definitely say it's one of the better beginner PV's. I've since moved up, though. I now vape a Chameleon mod and my fiance's Indulgence should be here today.
