Hello everyone!

Just found this forum searching for help which is seemingly non existent regarding the issues i'm having LOL!
Wanted to say Hey and hopefully I can become a part of the community as I gain more experiences!

Hopefully someone reading this may be able to help me!

I purchased a Joyetech 510 T starter kit to try and curb my cigarette habit, which has really helped!
But the tanks that came with the kit kept building up liquid inside the mouthpiece, Each puff - i was getting far more than I bargained for.

Tonight I returned to the store I purchased my kit from and asked for alternative tanks.

She sold me a pair of Kanger Esmart BCC
Said that they will work for my model but for some reason it's not getting a charge

The cigarette itself is fully loaded, and worked fine with my other tank system, this one is full as i was instructed (Still new to all of this) but when I breathe in, i'm hearing air, and ain't nothin coming out of the mouthpiece. It seems like possibly the threads aren't hitting the battery yet they're threaded to 510?

Has anyone experienced anything similar and could give me any advice? Or perhaps familiar with this e-cig/clearomizer combo?
Thank you so much in advance!

I have not used that battery/clearo combination. However, on any 510 type connection, the first thing is to make sure the center post of the battery is making good contact with the corresponding post on the topper. Sometimes one topper of a different type will push down that center pin, ever so slightly, so that the next topper does not make contact.

The solution. Get something like a very small screwdriver, a saftey pin, an unwound paper clip. Then ever so carefully, wiggle the center pin of the battery so that it comes out a bit. Just a millimeter can make the difference.

I'm curious, did they sell you two Esmart tanks with coils, just the ESmart coils, or did you get the ESmart kit (two batteries, two tanks, and crasher)

My buddy uses the Kanger ESmart and I've noticed his tanks don't seem to work on my eGo battery.

It was the Esmart Tank & Coil, I asked the woman there how to set it up, she showed me right infront of my face (Of course, we didn't test it or anything, d'oh) but now after getting them home, they just won't...... Do anything. I'm noticing that the part that is supposed to connect to the battery of the PRIMARY setup i got with my Joye 510 was circular and flat. and this one is still, obviously circular, but has a ridge going inwards in it. I'm not sure if there's something else needing to be in there? I've checked them both side by side and they look almost identical so I can safely say that it's not too SHORT to hit the battery and get that charge going.

I'm still picking up on all the terminology, lmfao, sorry all!

TY Grimwald, I will try that and see if maybe it will help me out. I've only ever used the regular kit until today I needed to get something different.

Grimwald - I went and tested exactly what you said, only had paperclips nearby, pulled it apart and wiggled it around that connecting pin, and they instantly started working!

Thank you thank you! LOL! Ugh it already hits so much better than the standard setup i was using!

Glad it worked...can't even begin to tell you how many times I've had to do that over the last 2 years. It's almost second nature to me now, as it will be for you before long...kind of like riding a bicycle...once you learn something, you never forget.

Excellent advice!

Esmart clearomizer can not match with an eGo battery.
You should get an CE4 or CE54 to start vaping with your eGo battery.
That's what I was thinking as well. It's been a couple of months since I tried but the ESmart isn't a 510 connection is it?

Edit: Nevermind, Kanger website does say it's a 510 connection.
