New from Atlanta

Hi

I have been reading the forum for a month now and finally decided to sign up. I stopped by the new Vaperite store in Atlanta a little more than a month ago just to see what it was all about and possibly get something to minimize my cig breaks at my studio. After one day of vapeing I lit up a cig then threw it to the ground in disgust. I have been smoking since I was 15 and I am now 44, I never intended to quit but found this to be so much better. 1 day? I still cant believe it, who knew it would be possible.

I appreciate all of the advice I have already received on this site, it has been a big help.

We started with I-taste VVs and protank 2s. I started with the Burly tobacco flavor from Vaperite which replaced my Winstons nicely but I have been sampling many flavors since I started. I think the Burly mixed with BB is my favorite blend so far. My wife loves the cotton candy however she is disappointed she cant find a decent flavor to replace her Djarum Blacks (We have tried several premade blends with poor results but have yet to try some of the recipes found this site.) I know that's a difficult one to reproduce.

Anyway, glad to be here, Ill have to try and think up 4 more beginners posts so I can get involved with the rest of the forum, thanks again.

Welcome, Renkrik (& wife)! Congrats to you both for your probable abandonment of the smokies!! It IS so amazing how vaping seems to quickly take away the desire to and enjoyment of smoking!! I'm still fairly new to this myself so won't make any kind of recommendations for equipment or the juice you are referring to - but I'm sure someone else will be able to! Best of luck and have a good time with this new thing!

Welcome to ECF and to vaping. Try doing a search on the Darjum. I have no idea what that is but have seen it mentioned several times so there is info out there. There are some things that can not be duplicated in an eliquid, like a juice that tastes just like a burning cigarette. You can read the different forums before you get your 5 posts in. You can also welcome others in the New Members forum to get those posts.

Welcome! The folks at VapeRite are pretty cool! Perhaps we'll bump into each other there. I tend to stop in every chance I get. You can actually buy the real Bobas Bounty there...kind of a big deal. It's not my favorite but it's pretty good. A nice way to transition from tobacco flavors into other flavors. As your taste buds come back to life, you might find yourself not trying so hard to recreate the taste of a Winston. I smoked Marlboro and thought if I could find a vape that tasted like Marlboro, I'll be set. Thank God I can't find one. I did find one that tastes like Pretzels....it's amazing. Go Figure!
