Hey Ever1ast, I knew there was something I liked about you. What part of New Mexico are you from? I grew up down in the southwest corner, south of Lordsburg and near the Arizona line. I promise to share my pics with you though and there will be lots of them.

And pink, sorry. Can't bring any cows. Had to sell all of them when everything dried up around here. No rain, no water in the ponds, no grass and high feed prices. Its so bad here that I'm seeing hay coming in from South Dakota!

I'm from steel country originally (PA) but the family and I lived up in the mountains of Ruidoso for a while. I tell people I lived in NM and they ask "Isn't that all desert?" lol Not where I lived...we had a ski resort Probably would've stayed longer but working for the family business doesn't always "work". It was beautiful though, I'll give it that. And it got just as hot as where I am now...but it was a DRY heat lol. We're thinking of going back to visit in the next year or two maybe; my dad still lives up there.

Yeah, I know the Ruidoso area well and your right, it is beautiful up there!

And I understand about family business too. Sometimes a guy just has to be out there making his own life. There's nothing wrong with that.

You only get one chance at all this, you might as well enjoy your own successes and learn from your own mistakes.

I sure do miss New Mexico though!

Well most anyway, but I did get a SecondChance to get on the straight and narrow!!

I got the straight down pretty good. But that narrow is kickin my ....!!! I'm workin on it though! Still swerve a bit here and there... the mountains of NM are quite beautiful..

And T, ya can stop on by and pick me up on the way out of town... lol
