I already feel guilty about spending that much on myself instead of my children… But I figure if I can quit smoking which is the ultimate goal, hopefully I'll have more money in the long run and be healthier

BUT!

You're spending it on your kids since, as long as you have the will, you WILL become an ex-smoker. That will give your kids more time with you :)

And good hardware will last quite some time. Sure, you'll still need to buy juice (or make your own) and coils (or go rebuildable), but once you have your hardware and backups, that cost goes way down.

And welcome to ECF!

I don't have any pretty mods such as what you're getting :( All of my mods are just plain ole non-colored, boring ones lol

when you get tired of it, remember me :)

With roommates like what you had, you certainly don't need enemies

I switched from a pack and a half to to vaping pretty much instantly when I started. You have to get past the first 2 weeks, that was the hardest for me anyways. It's a habit and an addiction. After that it was smooth sailing. I use the website ecblend for juice...you can order very small quantities or large ones. Trials are 2.50 and 5ml. I recommend trying different nic levels and different pg/vg ratios as well as different flavors. I found that the juice matters more than the device. If it doesn't taste good to you, the most expensive device is useless.

That's what I have been discussing with another member at the current time. Come to find out I needed a lower nicotine dose for this Tank then I did with my spinner … But she sold me 12 mg nicotine levels… And never mentioned a word about stepping down the nic level....So now I'm wondering what can I mix with MY MIX... Which is three parts unicorn milk and one part vanilla bourbon…

You could always buy a bottle of usd vg from Walmart for a few bucks and water it down with that. You will lose some flavor but I've cut juice in half and have been fine with it.

Maybe look for USP, not usd :)

Not sure I'd want to buy used VG

(Hey, I'm funnin'. I make my share of typos too!)

And echoing what others have said you are doing something that will be better for your health. I am sure that vaping is not 100% good for you but I am also sure that it is quite a bit safer, no carbon monoxide, no tar... Even if there are some harmful byproducts its not the several thousand nasties found in regular cigarettes. Just comparing the number of ingredients i don't see how the math could ever mean vaping isn't a medium to large imprivement :) and its more fun and tastes way better.

    Enjoy it! :)

Info: PG is often found in inhalers as a substance carrier.

Well this might sound odd but this is one of the few times in life where money can actually buy time. You'll proobably live longer with e-cigs than plain ol fags.

add..... quote me if you like lel

Does the subtank mini take Nickle coils? I don't know about the Smok tank i have..its a VCT pro... And it's quite a pain in the ... to close after you fill... I don't know if it's because of the new O-rings that it seems like I can never get the top on it all the way down to the glass flush . The drip tip wiggles and it seems like it will be too big for my 40w.

there are nickel coils available for the subtank, but i have been hearing mixed reviews on spitting issues with them - have not tried any myself, as I have been rebuilding the old kanger heads with vertical nickel coils in them for my brother in law... now, in my opinion, the regular kanthal vertical coils in the subtank mini work pretty well (i fire the .5ohm coil around 30-32 watts, so would be in range for your istick also)... only stock TC (nickel) coils I have tried have been in my freemax starre pro tank and they have worked great

I use Ni200 (TC) coils in my Kanger Subtank Minis and have had no problems at all with them. I use them on my Evic VT and really enjoy the vape they provide.
Welcome to ECF enjoy your journey.
