When I was a kid living in CT one of my dads friends was a manager at the Old Hundred Ice Cream factory. Which later became Baskin Robbins. He used to get any flavor us kids wanted in the huge brown barrel buckets (5 gallon or 10 gallon, I can't remember which they are this late at niteI don't even know where the closest baskin robbins is anymore. There was one attached to our dunkin donuts, but there was a fire and when they did all the repairs, they got rid of the ice cream
They have the absolute BEST Chocolate!!! Chocolate Almond is my fave!!!!
) they have right off the production line, so we always had 3 or 4 different flavors of Baskin Robbins in the huge chest freezer in our basement. It was heaven !

I do miss when they were a stand alone and had more flavors at a time though. I had to order the chocolate almond...cause they never had it

That's what I'd have to order....and they are not cheap anymore! But it made it easier when my mom and I split the cost (of course we had to split the ice cream too...that part was kinda stinky

When we first moved here, we still had a big store. Then it went out of business and was YEARS before they brought it back to this area....but it was the little bitty thing with D. Donuts
