Geeze, ZZ. I was lucky to have my Slipped Disc handled by a Chiropractor in the mid-80's. It still bothers me sometimes, but nowhere near that bad.

Try 30 AWG Kanthal for your Lower Ohms.

You can get a longer wrap for 1.8Ω, which will make the vape not be so Harsh.
