I'm using Lifepo4 battery's because its what I have... They don't push high amps? Which is why I was thinking 34. Max amps when fully charged is 800mah, stacked can push 1600 but that's still not as much as one 18650 AW IMR which averages 2200mah of power. I'm in a co-op for a eFast Digital charger with USB out and 5 battery's (2*18650, 18500, and 2*18650) then I will get lower gage... Found some 270mesh (don't know if I can list the web site because its not this forum) that I want to use for my extra thick DIY 100VG that I'm 3 months into its steeping... Then it will be filtered to 80microns...
That
thread isn't really about High Amps, or High Watts, but how Kanthal works.
1.8Ω is 1.8Ω, no matter which wire you use. But the 30 AWG will give you the longer Coil to Spread Out the Heat, and Better Contact with your Wick. Look again at the
Thread Title. It says...
"It's all about Wire Temp."
34 AWG will heat up even faster than 32, which will make your Vape very Hot and Harsh. 32 AWG comes in almost anything you buy that's pre-wrapped, so you can see how long that Coil is. A 34 AWG Coil will be even Shorter, because the Ohms per Inch is Higher, meaning you
cannot use as much wire to get to 1.8Ω. So it will Glow Red faster. Again, 1.8Ω is 1.8Ω.
