I salute you sister! :D

Hubby and I love reptiles, frogs, toads, tarantulas and have had all for pets, right now we have a California king snake...we used to have rattlers too but after hubby tried to keep one in the house with the kids I said no way, you can catch them, but only to eat from now on...lol and he does eat them, I can't do it, they're just too beautiful alive..

For an over night stay? Maybe some oak bark to hide under. A shallow lid with a smear of water is a must.
You can keep him, I have... but an expensive light is needed maybe a small heat rock
Crickets, meal worms for a treat (dusted) if your keeping her, talk to the local pet store who would sell reptile stuffs. But be prepare for the "you should not make a wild animal a pet lecture"...

^^^^^ There you go!

I'm so very full. Hubby made beef ribs for dinner. He makes the best ribs. Who knew mixing orange juice with barbecue sauce to slow bake them would be so good. But hes made this recipe a dozen times, and it's always excellent. We thought the first time it would be one of those unreplicable flukes, but it's totally not. Orange juice on beef ribs is magic.

Yes pine and cedar are really, really bad for reptiles!

I did the latter once and recently...to the puppy dog in my avi.

It was the hardest thing that I have ever been done and hope I never have to do it again!

me too, but it was years back and you are right, JJ.......it is the hardest thing ever...esp after 17 years. I never got a chance to tell you how sorry I am about that.

I just love my bugs, snakes, lizards and amphibians.. I'm a weird girl that way...

We have lots of those here. I call them baby dragons. I think they are special so I go out of my way to rescue them when they get inside and my kittehs want to play with them. My kittehs play too rough for baby dragons. :)
