It wasn't charging correctly, the light on the charger kept changing from red to green about every 5 seconds. I decided to clean the connections on both the battery and the charger, and it seems to be charging now. The light is staying red now.

Yeah the juice will get on the connection and cause problems, I clean the eGo connections with a tissue B4 charging them to help prevent this.

I have also read that juice can cause them to short out when charging.

I'll keep this in mind. I know Austin was disappointed with his, he had it for 2 days only to find out it had a short(couldn't use the 3.2-3.8v range and then it wouldn't charge or turn on) . The company we bought them from is going to replace his.

That's good that there replacing it for you, I rarely go over 4 volts so the 3.2-3.8v range is my sweet spot for most of my fruit and candy juices.
