Hi all, my name is robert. I've been vaping for two years exclusively. Kicked analogs from the first vape. Started on a ego style 650mah battery and a ce4 tank. Shortly after burning out the coil on that tank I upgraded to a ce5. After that I moved on to a protank 3. Kept woth that for a while and just recently started dripping. My current set up is simple. A smok magento v2 and a mephisto rda with a twisted 28g kanthal a1 single coil at .3ohms. I did cloud chase for a while but have since gone back to just vaping for flavor. Enough from me, thank you ecf for having me on board.

Welcome aboard Robert. I kicked the smokes with ecigs too. And I really haven't had much luck with cloud chasing. I just started sub-ohming last week. For me it's about the flavor. I also noticed that my Kayfun Lite seems to sweeten the flavor compared to the full taste in a dripper at the same ohm. Anybody else notice this?

Thanks for the warm welcome. I can't afford a kayfun. My mephisto still kicks out clouds but they aren't like they use to be. I build my coils with the intention of getting more flavor and I think I scored with this twisted 28. Taste for most of my juice is great. Some of it you can't even taste it. I'm also still in the nic game. Working my way down. I'm at 6mg nic right now and I cut it in half every time I get new liquid. I started at 36mg from a local vape shop when I had my ce4 and still was at 24 when I had my protank. Once I got my first dripper (smok caterpillar) I went down to 9mg because the giy at the vape shop said it would be like vaping 24. And he was right. . Welcome Robert, it's always great to find another native of the Rochester area. I've been vaping about as long as you and I'm just now looking into RBAs. Currently in my research phase. Not looking for clouds of vapor but to achieve better flavor from my juice. I hit a friend's Russian 91% on a box mod with grape flavor. Not only did I get clouds of vapor but it tasted like I just took a spoonful of grape jam - outstanding! Do you mind telling me what hardware you're vaping?

Bobby, as stated above( not being a ....) I use a mephisto rda. Its technically a clone but works jist as well as the real thing. I got it from "the vape shop" on ridge road near greece ridge. And my mech is a smok magneto v2. It has a conical machined cap which is supposed to increase flavor. I love the thing. I dripped blueberry liquid on it and I felt as though I just shoved a box of fresh blueberrys in my face. It was great and this dripper works wonderful for 32 bucks.

Welcome to the ecf. And crongrats on 2 years!!!

I'm a bit over a year. Started with Halo Tritons. Still use and still superb flavor. For my vapeversary, I gifted meself with an iStick, a coupla nautilussesss (nautili?) some iclear x.i and a few other tanks. One day I will rebuild.

And enjoy the upcoming Black Friday sales all over the vaping world.

I left Rochester (Rottenchester) in '81'. Born and raised there, '55'. Wow..guess what? there's a better world out here. LOL....I do miss Wegman's though. My sis and dad are still there, so I go to visit. Been doing this vape thing for 4 years now. I'm up to 10 Mods, RDA and RTA also. Mix my own juice.
