I was drunk last night vaping away. Woke up this morning to sore neck muscles. Strange. Go for my morning vape and I notice what seems like somebody holding a strobe light behind my head while vaping. Very strange. I also noticed that it feels like I was 10 again and holding a 9v battery to my tongue except the "buzzing" feeling for lack of a better word was in my cheeks. This iTaste SVD and Kanger Protank are somehow conducting electricity into my face. After 3 weeks of vaping I just bought a back of Camels. Very unnerving.

No leaking at all. This coil has lasted 3 days no problem without a hitch. It's a 1.8 ohm. I don't have any extras actually I have gone through all 5 in the last 3 weeks.

Did you experience any of the "electric shock therapy" with any of the previous heads?

Also, do you have any other type of atty or carto that you can use instead of the protank? See if something similar is happening while using something else on top of the SVD.

Trying to locate the source of the problem by process of elimination. If I had to bet money, I'd say it was the protank or the head/coil of protank. Just my non-expert opinion though.

I have to go with my original assumption that it has to be the coil or head that you were using. I have two protanks with rebuilt coils and I haven't had anything like this happen on mine (even when using the stock coil/wick). Sorry you had to buy analogs again and I hope that you don't give up on vaping because of this, what seems like, a very freak type occurrence.

Freaky indeed. I have two protanks with mesh wicks and outside of getting a hotspot next to the rubber ring and burning it if held down too long they have been flawless. It is the wildest sensation having that current flow through your cheeks, eyes, and neck though.

What voltage are you using with the 1.8 ohm coil? It may be too high and it's frying the coils. I've never had that happen in the 1 1/2 years I've been vaping. Can't see how it would conduct electricity through the delivery system. My 1.8 ohm coils last me sometimes 3 1/2 weeks, when they're done, the just stop working.

I have read that some ProTank coils have been doing this. The reason is because the negative leg makes contact with the base of the ProTank causing a shock. Unscrew the base and check to see if there is a piece of the wire sticking out of the connector (near the white insulator). If there is, then snip it with some nail clippers (or wire snips)
