Whats up fellow vapor lovers. I'm new to the forum so I'm just stopping in here to see whats up.

While we're all here I do have a question about what Voltage to run on my clearomizer and DCT. I'm using an itaste MVP and am switching between an iclear 16 and a DCT (1.5 ohm at the moment). Just wondering what you guys recommend running these at so I dont burn out my coils/cartos too fast.

I already kinda figured out that I should probably get a 2.0 or 3.0 ohm carto for my DCT. I've seen the charts and whatnot that people have posted but I'm looking for more personal preferences.

Thanks everyone:2cool:

Welcome , and I use the rule of two , when using voltage . So if my atty , or carto is 2.0 ohms , I set my voltage to 4.2 volts . You can adjust alittle from there , less voltage = cooler vape and less vapor . More voltage = warmer vape , and a bit more vapor . But I wouldn't go over , say 4.8 volts , max , else you risk the chance of popping the coil . And anytime a juice tastes burnt , try lowering the voltage and see if that helps . Not the only reason , for a burnt taste , but one of the main one's . Good Luck

Welcome to ECF and to vaping Truth. For voltage recommendations, it's really all about starting point suggestions and then you have to experiment to see what you like best. General rule of thumb is resistance + 2 = an acceptable voltage to start with. Clearomizers don't like to go too high or you will notice a burnt taste. Cartomizers are much more forgiving in my experience. Have fun and vape happy :toast:

I would recommend keeping it around 4v basically range 3.0 to 4.2 any higher and you wouldn't see much of a difference in vape plus you will just be burning through cartos like it's going out of style. I like my vape at 4 and sometimes 4.2 it's really all personal preference. Everyone is different, just remember to keep it under 4.4 otherwise you'd be throwing money away. :)
