After being curious about e-cigs (tried my friends one a few times) for a while I decided to place my first order. Ordered some ego-t, some atomisers... a cheap cart based system and a bunch of juice+carts from dx .

Seeing as I don't know what I will like I figured I would invest in some variety first and then see what I want to go with for better performance (looking at vamo right now).

For my background I have tried every single nicotine delivery system (AFAIK), I don't smoke but regularly do snus, cigars & smoke a pipe. I look forward to it as I assume its like shisha but with decent nicotine.

Any advice?

You went well with your choices so far, the vamo is great, my buddy has one and loves it...$51.42 Vamo-Vivi Voltage Adjustable E-Cigarette Battery Compartment Set - with Nitecore I2 Euro battery charger/charger cable/2*Panasonic 18650 batteries at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping That is a cheap vamo, if you don't mind the shipping time...and every vaper is different, sometimes people wean off of cigarettes slowly and mix it with vaping, others just stop the smoking and keep strictly to vaping...Have fun with it, vaping has become an addiction/hobby...have fun with it! And welcome to the addiction.

I just ordered a vamo as well!

I was in the same boat as you I smoked hookah everyday and chewed quite a lot. And with this different way of getting nicotine I have stopped chewing completely, only hookah maybe once a week and don't smoke at all (never really got into cigs due to the poop taste).

Start with an ego and a tank and carto set up and see if you like it. Its the best bang for your buck and in my opinion the easiest to use.

Then like me I got into mechanical mods and skipped over the high end var-volts devices.

Welcome smokandsteel!

Sounds like you are starting well, ego-t with some juices. Try them out and see what you like and then cater to what works. Many here give the Vamo great reviews. Only real suggestion I have is to get some different nic levels to find the one that works for you, other than that I can't think of much, I am sure others will come up with suggestions that I missed (getting old you know and forget that I forgot things).

But again welcome!

I dont smoke cigarettes and I have no intention of quitting cigars, for me its a hobby! Thats a very good deal for a vamo (from what I have seen) I am worried that Canadian Customs will stop it though- always a risk.

Can you drip with an ego-t? Everyone talks about it in terms of flavor so I hope I can try it out with what I ordered!

I do snus 8-10 times a day and its very very very strong stuff (28mg a gram, usually use 2-3 gram portions at a time) I reckon I will need the strong stuff.

If I order weaker e-juice is it feasible to just vape more to get my fix that way or do I need higher nic content juice to hit the sweet spot?

I ordered "high" and "medium" can't recall the specific % off the top of my head. Hope its enough! (just realised how much I sound like a junkie!).

I couldn't resist and ordered a K100, mostly as insurance in case laws change etc. (i read mechanical mods were pretty tough?). I have a feeling this new hobby will get very expensive for me! ;) Got a Atmizoo in my wishlist along with some VV's just to see if I will enjoy it.

Wow! No messing. Nice. :)
