Hey everyone,

I've been vaping for a little over a month now, and I haven't smoked a cigarette since. I like to tinker and research things, so I went straight to mech mods and RDAs. I've been frequenting my local vape place (hello Abyss Vapor Lounge) and letting them do my builds while I prepare myself for becoming self sufficient by watching endless YouTube videos. Just got a spool of 26 gauge kanthal so I'll probably start building micro coils until I feel like they're decent.

Here's my current gear list:

SS Hades mod (clone) with Cerberus rda (clone)
Panzer Hellfire mod (Shenxi clone) with Origen v2 RDA (clone)
Patriot RDA (clone)

That being said, I have a parallel single coil build with 27 gauge kanthal in the Origen, and I noticed one of the legs going to the negative posts burns bright red if I fire the mod for more than a second. When I remove the wick it seems to be fine. Any idea what's up with that?

to ecf houseoftheed. So glad you are here. Congrats on the months vaping. Isn't it wonderful? I have never used those particular rda's but I am sure someone who can help you will come along soon. That is what is so wonderful about ecf. Good luck to you and have fun.

Have you read up on battery safety, ohm's law and amp draw? You also need to purchase an ohm reader or DMM.
