Certainly, at this time of vaping, DIY is a very good option, one that I myself has to consider seriously. My personal favorites are naturally extracted tobaccos from Heathers Heavenly Vapes. The purity line is 100% VG - though different ratios of PG/VG are offered. I'd recommend buying a small sampler from them, specifically Legend, Serendipity, and Gaia and see what you think. If you don't like them, and they don't have outrageous amounts of PG, I'll buy them back from you. Just PM me if that's the case :)

If not unflavored try simple one or two ingredient flavors, such as menthol, mint, blueberry, cherry, clove, licorice, or pumpkin spice (not pie). Avoid creams as they can have an unpleasant taste. Get the liquid made strong (2-3 extra shots) until you get used to tasting the flavors. PG carries flavor. So, get flavor with higher PG such as 65PG/35VG. Also, adjust the watts on your pv to get the best flavor possible. You will not get as much flavor blowing clouds as you will by using 6-12 watts with a 1.5 - 2.1 ohm coil. I get the best flavor with the Aspire general use replacement Non-Nautilus bvc 1.8 coils and have tried a lot of different brands.

Best wishes on your vaping journey.

Hello everyone! I am fairly new to vaping but have been trying to get into it for a while. My wife was able to get right into it. We have both decided to give it a real try this time to quit smoking. We have both smoked since our teen years and are ready to quit.

So now on to my problem, I tend to have a sensitive palate. I can usually taste stuff my wife can't. This is where the problem is... I have been to 2 different local shops and tried all of their flavors and even ordered some online and nothing tastes good to me. I have gotten some that I can tolerate to a degree but cannot enjoy for very long. When my wife tastes a flavor then I taste it we have totally different outcomes.

Not sure if anyone else has this problem but I could use some advice. I have tried different mods from ciga-likes to vv/vw, still the flavors do not taste good. This is very frustrating and discouraging. My wife and I are on a fixed budget so its not like I can just order samples from everyone and hope they don't taste bad to me.

I hope I explained my problem clear enough to understand, and thanks in advance for any advice.

I would suggest you get a dripper and supply of cotton for wicking and go to the vape stores as ask if they have samples you can take for a taste drive.

Actually i do have issues with artificial sweeteners which sucks as I was recently diagnosed diabetic. I can usually taste a bitterness or off taste to things with artificial sweeteners. I had not even considered that. Is there a way around this?
GNC liquid Stevia. I use it in my DIY juice as my sweetner. You can use it in orther food things as well since that is what it is for. You might want to google "bitter Gene" on the net and see if you might have it.
I do.
