new guy with a question!

whats up guys, just joined the forum after lurking for the past year or so. liking it so far, but i got a question. i currently vape with an Apex Ultramax, which has been good to me so far, and just yesterday i picked up a few CE4 v2's, v3's and a map tank. with the ultramax, id have to run an adapter due to the 510 connection being sunk into the device. so i picked up an adapter as well but none of these things i picked up work on my ultramax. they work wonders on my ego! just not the ultramax. any ideas on what my problem may be?

is the adaptors center post making contact to the device?

I have a tank that doesn't always work when I switch to a different battery, i have to pull/wiggle the center pin out a tiny amount on the tank to get the battery connnection

making perfect contact! in fact if i use the adapter with my AVA SR atty or any other 510 atty it works fine. also my old map tank works but not the new one. but everything works on my ego. this confuses me

I wonder if your adapter is actually making contact in the connection of the Alpha...sure the adapter may work on other devices...but they probably aren't as deep as the one on the Alpha...I looked at my Ultra and it's pretty deep.
