Obviously new to the forum. I'm also a newer vaper as well (about 3 months). I've done lots of research and will continue to do so. Hence, coming here to the forum.

I started with a pen type kanger, then moved up to an MVP 2.0 that maxed out at 11 watts with a genitank on it.

Now i have an istick 40TC with a black subtank mini on it. I found that the stock coils (vertical OCC) that come with it burn out too quick and I can't rewick them. Garbage. I'm using the rba plus deck that it comes with and am having success with it. I just built my first ni200 coil this morning. I did 14 wraps around a 3/32 drill bit and it comes out to 0.15 ohms. I fire it at 450 deg F. Not too shabby. My next coil will be 2.5 mm and I'm going to try less wraps and see how that goes.

Welcome Kandem!
You said that you were having a success with the RBA.. When ever i do a build on it, i always get a lot of spit back, and it burns the sh*t out of my tongue.. Any tips?

As I'm a beginner, I can only pass on what I have researched and tried myself. When wicking or rewicking your coil, you may be using too little wicking material if it is spitting and burning your tongue. If you get mega amounts of dry hits you have too much wicking material. You have to try yourself to find the happy spot. I'm using temp control now with my nickel build and get no spits and no dry hits at all. When using the stock coils they give you for the RBA, I have had some spitting. Also, I hate using japanese cotton, I find it burns too easy and I am less able to find the happy spot with the wicking. Now I just use normal organic cotton.
