Just signed up! Not new to vaping but new to this site. I am attempting to get ride of the cigs permanently by vaping. Right now I am working on 3 days without them I’m using a smok rpm 80 and have a pick 75 as a backup. Any advice anyone may have I would graciously accept!

Welcome to the ECF Maddog. That 1st Week can be Tough. No Doubt about it.

Here are some things that Help Me when I Quit...

    Drink More Water.
    Do more PT than usual.
    Try not to Drink Alcohol.
Stay Busy with Hobbies or Jobs around the House
Try to Break the Routines you used to have when you Smoked.

That Last one can seem Trivial. But it can be Very Powerful. Because a Huge Part of Smoking is Mental Routine.

So say you always lighted a Cigarette when you get in your Car to go someplace. Next time get in your Car, Start the Engine, then get out of you car and walk around it once like you are checking the Lights or something.

Or if you Always had a Cigarette after Dinner, finish Diner but immediately walk outside to the Mail Box or down to the Corner and Back.

Anywhere you Always had a Cigarette, or things that would Trigger you to have a Cigarette, find a way to Break the Routine. And Do them Differently.

You can Make It. But Your Need to Quit Smoking has to be Greater than your Desire to Smoke. So just Focus on Today. And Tackle Tomorrow when it gets here.

Also... Put some Much Higher than Normal mg/ml e-Liquid in your Back-Up e-Cigarette.

Then when that Overwhelming thought that "I Can have just One Cigarette and things will still be OK" hits, reach for your Back-Up and hit it about 5 Times.

Welcome to ECF, Maddog usmc. I used to have a Pico 75 too and it is an awesome mod. If I were you I'd ditch the Smok and get another Pico. If the Smok is still working fine for you, great. When they work, I hear they work good, but I also see a lot that the work/not work ratio is heavy on the not work side. Welcome again to ECF, Maddog usmc. Keep on keepin' off..

    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Well here’s the update. I have been dual using this past month because I still had strong cravings. I was vaping 6 mg of nic so I decided today to go up to 12 mg. Hopefully it will help me get completely away from the cigs. I vape direct lung. Any advice would be appreciated!

Just stick with it. I think increasing your nic will help you. That's a common strength for new vapers/former smokers. Once you completely kick the stix, you can start going lower if/when you desire.

Welcome, maddog usmc. I believe you can leave the cigs behind. Vape your brains out when you crave one. That's what I did, until I realized I liked vaping much more than I liked smoking. Haven't wanted one since I chose a day to quit 100 percent, in favor of vaping.

Being fully accustomed to vaping, knowing your equipment and your preferences of nic level and flavors, having plenty of everything in supply, and knowing where to replenish your supplies, is where to be when you choose your "quit day".

If you choose a quit day and you don't succeed, do what you need to do until you're ready to choose another quit day. You're the boss. A period of dual use is what many successful vaper ex-smokers went through.
