i apologize if its been covered, but it's come time for me to charge for the first time :)
couple questions.. how do i tell if it's charging, and how long might it take to fill up a new battery

If you look in the bottom part of the window ( look down into the mod ) you'll notice a red light. That will tell you its charging. When the light goes off, Its charged.

Now the DNA20 board does have a green light that goes on and that tells you the battery is fully charged but i cannot see the green light with the Hana, Only the red. ( though i have seen the green light with my other DNA20 mods )

You can also kinda see the red light to the left inside the USB port if you have a usb cable that doesn't have a large casing around it. You also sometimes can see the green light from the screen. This is the only design flaw I have found on my mini v2.1 but it's definitely not a big deal to me.

The DNA20's also have a battery meter on the screen. That's really all that I every look at, and provides a generally accurate representation of the status. It takes a moment to update, after you click a button, but it's measured in seconds, not minutes.

Thanks, I didn't know it was measured in seconds. But yeah, I was just let them know about the light so when the battery meter shows full the light may still be red for a few more minutes.

Sorry! I should have been more clear. I meant it only takes a few seconds to update the meter, once you push a button. It's not a long wait.

eugh.. getting 'check atomizer' message.. same thing that was happening with the first device I received. Didn't find anything like that on the boards.. has anyone experienced the same thing?

Could be a short in your atomizer or your atomizer is not making contact in the 510 connection. If you have an adjustable PIN on your atomizer maybe try to extend it out a little.

Nick at Riverwalk Vapors emailed me back with a solution! There is a screw inside the device that had got a bit loose and just needed to be tightened down. Wish I'd thought of that, but I didn't want mess with the internals by myself.

I'll update the post in a while with a pic of which screw. This actually this solved another issue which was that the ohm readings were maybe .2 or .3 high when I received this device, and now it's spot on.

i want a kayfun next lol
with that and my rda, i think i'd be satisfied

Yeah, I haven't touched any of my other devices in a while ever since I got my Kayfun. Its a clone but the one difference is the airflow adjustment is on the side of the base instead of on the bottom which is why I liked it better. It hits close to an RDA but I'll except the trade off for the convenience of a tank and no worries about leaks.

I have a wrap on the way from jwraps for the mini. They have the wrap available, just haven't updated website yet. I've been using it as a pastthrough so far, loving it. Russian fits on it perfectly, no overhang. 2 small complaints but I expected these from other reviews: 1)finish isnt perfect, lots of machining marks but appearance doesn't affect me and I have a wrap on way anyway, 2) no charging light indicator. Positives, DNA works great, and much smaller than i thought it would be. Will report on battery life next week.

I have the mini and see a red charging light at the mini usb connection port...when fully charged, there is no red light anymore.

I have a question for those of you who know your batteries.

I am currently using a NCR18650PD 2900mah 10A in my Hana v2.

I was browsing around and nothing these Sony VTC4 2000mah 30A batteries.

Which battery would be better for the Hana? The NCR18650PD or the Sony VTC4?

From what i read ( at the time ) I believe the best battery to use was the NCR but then again i read this awhile ago. I am wondering will the Sony be any better? worse? or the same?

Thanks
