A brief update........Picked up an e-roll today with an extra cone, tanks and atty's as I'm headed out of town for a week and didn't want to get caught short. I decided to go with an unflavored 9mg nic juice as when I tried a 12mg and 18mg in the store, it just felt too high but after a few hours of use, I'm questioning my decision and think I should have gone higher to start. I seem to need to take more hits than a normal cig would be to get the satisfaction and I also feel like the throat hit is a bit weak so I find myself vaping for longer periods of time than normal.
Should I pick up a small bottle of 12mg to see if it makes any difference or jump to 18mg? Would like to be able to get the satisfaction from 5-6 hits instead of 15-20. Other than that, I love the e-roll so far. The pcc seems to take a long time to charge but that may be due to being new.
Steve, glad you got your kit and that you like it. I don't know how many packs a day you smoked, but you said you were a long time, 40 year smoker. That is me, as well. I smoked ultra lights for the last few years, telling myself the lie that they were "better" for me, lol. But I did manage to open and smoke/burn in the ashtray, sometimes at least a pack and a half most days.
For whatever reason, when I got my juice at the local vape shop, the little gal decided to sell me 12 mg. juice. It worked for a few days, but just barely. I felt very anxious and had a vague feeling that something was not right. Not what I would call a craving for a cigarette, but just not right.
I went back and got 18 mg. and it was a whole lot better, but like you, I felt I was constantly puffing to keep the comfort going and the anxious feeling at bay.
I jumped up to 24 mg. and it was just perfect. I felt totally comfortable for the first time since I started. I did not smoke through any of this, but finally felt like things were right for me.
This is just my experience, but thought I would share it with you. I didn't start vaping to feel bad, and the 24 mg. does the trick. In the future, I may drop down some, but for right now, I feel great. I'm a very healthy person in spite of all those smoking years. My BP stays at 120/70. I take no prescriptions, and I'm seldom sick. So for now, I'm going to keep doing what I'm doing, and NOT smoking.
