New to e-cigs, need expert advise please...

Hi Everyone,

I'm new here and I'm 57 yr old male that's been smoking Marlboro Reds Kings for almost 35 yrs and I've been told I have to quit or die with a lung problems, so I've read so much online about E-cigs that I'm totally confused. Seems everything is made in China or elsewhere. You email these places with questions and they don't email you back most of the time. I happen to come across y'alls forum and said great, a place that I might can find out some answers to help me!

My questions are this.
1) Is there an rechargeable E-cig that about the same length and weight of a Marlboro king (not 100) and looks like one?
2) Is there a brand that taste like a Marlboro king without the burning?
3) I've read something about "Minis" What are minis?

I've tried Blu's, tried njoy's, which aren't bad, Njoys say last up to 2 packs, NOT.. but,tried some refills online which are really too long, heavy as a brick and a pain to refill....I'm considering The Volt, but not sure how it's reviews are..Sent them email questions too, waiting on reply!!




Please help me on the above, for I don't have a lot of spare time to keep searching and don't want to end up spending $100's trying many other brands out...Any replies would be appreciated....

This is my first post on the ecf. Today is my 7th day smoke free. I started with the blu disposable and while they were pretty terrible I could see the potential of vaping working for me.
I ordered a Halo g6 starter kit and love it. I read through the other responses on this thread and I know the experienced folks recommend starting at a more advanced level. I know it's because they want us to learn from their experience, but if you're like me you don't want to hear about all the fancy mods etc. We're addicted to the act of smoking just as much as the nicotine. I'm pretty sure they're right and soon I'll want to move up, but for now I needed something that was as close as possible to the act of smoking. I ordered the g6 starter from Halo with a pack of prefilled torque cartos and a pack of blanks with the tobacco sampler. The last smoke I had was a week ago while waiting for the batteries to charge up.

So far the torque is as close in flavor as I've found. I still want a cigarette all the time, but at least now I have an alternative that is pretty satisfying.
