That seems to be the policy of many vets and it's much appreciated. Although I do go to other areas of ECF from time to time. I've learned most of what I know here.
Hey 30+ years, how did you get that counter for how many days you've been smoke free? That is really cool.
Ok, what is the atomizer? Is that the actual thing that the coil is in that heats the coil? I think I am overfilling it. I will get home today and fill it just past halfway and see what happens. I also think Im going to try and put the rubber gasket from the II back into the III as I like the III better. I know it is practically the same tank but I like the atomizer in the III better. I dont like that shaft that comes off of the II's atomizer. That really threw me off. I just hope that these work out for me for a while to come because Ive spent about $180 on all this stuff the last week and cant afford anything else for a while. And while I wouldve spent that on cigarettes in a two month period, all at once killed me.
How long do the atomizer in the pro tanks usually last you guys? Im probably using mine moderately to heavily. About every 3 to 5 minutes I'll take a tug or two at home. While at work I have my "smoke" breaks that I will puff on it for about 15 min twice a day and one half hour break. I guess how long will the atomizer/tank last you if you use it heavily to moderately? Best guess.

How the heck do I do this?!?! I really had no idea you could do all this with these things. Quite honestly, I knew that vaping was getting big, but I've come to realize that it has been big for quite some time and is growing. Thats cool. Im happy to be a part of this community. If I dont touch another cigarette for the rest of my life it'll be too soon.
You should be able to click on it and it will give you the option to load it.
Depending on what juice I use I get 3-5 days before I clean the coil (atomizer). Just run under hot tap water or soak in hot water and let dry before reusing. Be careful to not lose the flavor wick it can easily fall out. Sometimes a dry burn is needed. Check youtube for videos on how to do that.
Coils that I've done that to have lasted me over a month. YMMV.

Take just the coil head by itself, hold the bottom and top pieces separately. You can try with your fingers, but I use 2 pairs of pliers. Pull them apart. It will separate where the little rubber ring is. You can also do this then soak in cheap vodka then rinse in order to reuse them when they get played. Do a search on youtube for "protank" and you will find video sof people pulling them apart for full rebuilds.

Oh, also, when I turn the voltage up, is that just strengthening the potency of the juice as in how hard it hits or is it turning up the amount of nicotine I'm taking in?? Or both??

Both. You can get more vapor production and therefore more nicotine with higher voltage up until the point that the atomizing device can't provide enough liquid to the coil to prevent burning.
With a Sigelei Zmax you have the advantage of operating with variable voltage (VV) or variable wattage (VW). There are advantages to either way but I prefer VW.
Make sure Menu Item #8 is set for RMS and not MEAN for the most accurate voltage and power (wattage) settings.
Switch between VV and VW at Menu Item #7. Variable wattage is also called variable power.

It does take 15 posts to get a banner. When you have your posts in, you can click on someone's banner that you like and it will take you to where you make one. Then go to "settings" and edit signature and paste in the code.

On menu #7 it says "voltage power". I hold the button to go into that menu and tap it and it says voltage or power. No VV or VW.....

V is voltage and W is power. In both cases the first V is variable.

If you have gone away from the Nasty's then gear is good. whatever is working for you i would say is "good".
Cool, got it. I like the voltage setting better. It seems to hit better for me. What's an advantage of using wattage over voltage?

The coils in atomizers have different resistance settings (if you unscrew the atomizer head/coil out of the base of one of our tanks, it will have a number and an omega symbol listing the resistance (ohms)) using variable wattage allows you to switch between tanks with atomizers of different resistances and get the same amount of power (watts) out of them. The number of watts is directly related to the amount of heat produced by the atomizer coil. In variable voltage mode, the output power will change when atomizers of different resistance are used since the voltage remains constant. Keep the equation V=I*R (Ohm's law) in mind. V is voltage, I is current, R is resistance.
