...as a forum to post deals we may have gotten or sales currently out there.

I recently bought several Express starter kits from vapornine. Came with the USB charger (sadly with NO wall charger), 2 Cartomizers and a battery for $8 plus shipping. I am giving them as gifts to some friends of mine that still smoke analogs. But for anyone who might be thinking of trying ecigs but unwilling to plunk down $50 or more this might get them started. I also should mention that i am pretty happy with my purchase. Though I have only tried two other brands so far its the best Automatic I have tried. The only thing that I think that sucks is that this company only gives a 14 day warranty.

There are also often deals to be had the in Classifieds and Mod vendor forums of ECF

And if someone just wants to try an ecig, LiteCigUSA.net has $10 disposable 510 and VaporSafe.com has a disposable cartomizer model for a similar price. So there already is no need for someone to buy a whole kit if they just want to try one.

You can pick up the wall charger pretty cheap. And it's always good to have a backup charger!

Well For me it was pretty easy since i had a bunch of wall chargers around for my cell phones. Its pretty common for cell phone chargers to be Usb to micro usb or even in my ipad.
Im not discounting your difficulty, but i just never thought about it.
