I think the 510 cartomizers will work on the blucig.

Also, there are a few different ways to refill cartomizers -- none of which are recommended for automatic batteries:
YouTube - How to Refill an E-Cigarette Cartomizer
YouTube - Refill Ecig Cartos Quick and Easy (CCFM)
YouTube - How To Refill Your E-Cig Cartomizer

Well, refilling is not recommended for autos, then I guess I'm outa luck. Perhaps in the future!
So the 510 is the same diameter as a Blu?

not to discourage you but if you hang out on this forum for long you will find far better e-cigs than the blue. You might want to spend your money on a 510 starter kit. or step up to a big battery solution like the EGO.
the blu atomizer is not refill friendly but it can be done.

Actually, I've been researching this forum the past week and know how alot of people hate their battery life, vapor production and customer service/shipping times.

I don't plan on using it too much or with high frequency so I'm not too worried about battery life....for now. However, if I do get hooked and actually use less analogs, then I'll get more batteries or go the 510 route.

Also, with their supposed new 2-piece system, I've been reading on this forum how vapor production has improved over the previous 3-piece setup. Plus alot of people seem to like Johnson Creek (?) e-juice and Blu uses them in their cartos. But $12 for 5 cartos seems pricey...but then again, what do I know....I'm a newb with e-cigs. :)

I am however worried about their shipping times. I ordered them yesterday and today it says its been shipped. Whether or not they actually shipped out however, is unknown. :(

=====

BTW,

When someone says "battery lasts for about an hour" are they talking about constant vaping/use for the entire hour? (like a chain smoker?) Or do the batteries drain out after an hour? Im assuming with constant use.

Thanks again,

The Blu battery WILL fit any 510 or 306 atomizer or cartridge or cartomizer. You do want to be careful because the blu battery is kinda wimpy, and some 510 cartomizers will actually drain your battery faster than it already drains. The pre-filled carto's that come with the new blu kits can be refilled. They fit about 20 drops of juice and they NEED to be either boiled out (boil them for 10 minutes) or washed out under steaming hot faucet water for a few minutes and left to dry for at least 24hrs.
I started with a blu, but because of the iffy battery life I moved up to an eGo which lasts me almost an entire day of relatively heavy vaping and also fits 510 components. the Joye (or any other brand) 510 is just a slightly larger version of the blu with the option for a manual battery, and a longer battery life.
Also, it's not that the blu is not refill friendly, the blu carto's are actually decent and good for several refills. they ARE metal so they CAN take boiling or a steaming hot shower. Allthough auto batteries aren't ideal for dripping or dipping.
If you can get 306 cartomizers, that's what I recommend for the blu. I've also tried the blu with a 2.5ohm clearomizer, and it works pretty well, but I can't vouch for the battery life because I only took one puff. GOOD LUCK!!! Welcome to the wild world of e-cigs

Is it ultimately worth it the change from normal cigs to vapor cigs ? I mean.....the actual smoking is not there anymore, why play around with vapors?

You obviously have never vaped and have no idea what the difference is and why vaping works so well. There is plenty of information on this site to educate yourself.

I'm new (hi!).

Where can I get replacement cartomizers that will fit Blu e-cigs?
Will these replacements contain Chinese made e-juice?

Can I refill the stock cartomizers from Blu?

Thanks.

You must have gotten your unit closer to Feb. I got mine late jan and it came with atomizers. In any case I have the blue right here. I just put on my T-Rex (ego style 510) on both batteries and it worked. though it's obvious they are a little bit thicker than the stock 306 atomizers. The important thing is one "could" put these 510 atomizers in the case, and the cartridges in the case so long as they are not connected.

It's definitely worth it. E-cigarettes don't contain any alien new chemicals that people have never used before, they contain merely 3 of the more than 599 ingredients inherent in tobacco cigarettes. By choosing to use e-cigarettes, we are discontinuing the use of more than 596 ingredients and opting only to use the three that we feel are necessary for our 'smoking' enjoyment.

We also forgo the carbon monoxide, lung coating tar, the stink, the breathing problems, the second-hand smoke.... etc.. And none of the ingredients that we use in e-cigarettes are carcinogens vs. the tobacco cigarette (which has more than 40 carcinogens).

For the great majority of us, this is not a nicotine cessation device -- instead it's a reduced harm solution which allows us to continue to "smoke" without incurring any of the negative health effects of smoking or second hand smoke. It does have the side effect of causing cigarettes to taste horrible for many of us, but for me that's neither here nor there because I'm not tempted to smoke anymore regardless.

fishmaniac - get 5 total posts or replies and wait about an hour and you'll be able to post in the Blu forum or anywhere else on the board. And yes I think someone said you can refill the cartos and that they are soft-caps (you pop the cap out) but you do have to be super careful with automatic batteries because they are dependent on the drag sensor through a hole in the threaded end of the battery - right where juice would leak. There is a whole thread about the cartos in the Blu section

Thanks for the jack.

eLiquidPlanet.com sells Blank 306 Cartomizers. 306 Cartomizers will fit your blu properly (vs the 510 which are too large). I have had no problem filling cartomizers for Automatic Batteries. (Isn't that what all the Vapor4Life people do?)

I'll check them out, thanks. I'm guessing refilling is inevitable?

Interchangeable but different diameters. Thanks

Yeah, that's where I've been doing most of the researching. I tried to post this question there but...you know. :) Thanks for the info about the drag sensor.

Thanks again. Ima go do some more clicking. :)

Thank you Rosa. So just 3 chemicals instead of 600. That's pretty neat. However I remember these e-cigs as being very expensive. Am I wrong about this? Are there any discount coupons that I could use to buy the cigs or free refill offers? I'm really trying to quit smoking and I'm at half a pack per day.

There are plenty of solutions under $50 to get started. Heck, some KR808-D1s are just $15 if you don't mind Marl Bros dirty dishwater flavor. The 501 basic kits start at around $30ish I believe. Bulk fluid at under $1/ml.

If you apply all of the savings solutions (DIY your own e-liquid, don't buy a bunch of new gadgets, maintain what you already own, always look for coupon codes) You can end up spending about $20 a month. I used to spend about $80-$100 a month, so it CAN save you money if you try.

The average kit costs about $50 and e-liquid (for a month) costs about $45 (at $15 for 30ml) if you buy it pre-mixed for you, so even at those prices I could buy a new kit and e-liquid every month and not have spend more than I spent on cigs. YMMV.

I hope I haven't. Been playin with vapor for nothing. Oh yeah its to take the place of the smoke! That's the whole point. To not have smoke.
It realy isn't more expensive if you consider you weekly cigg habbit anyway now that's expensive. In the long run you could save a ton of cash or you could end up like me and spend twice as much. But all in all its a smarter choice and a cleaner lifestyle that I'm sure you would enjoy
