New here, looking for advice on rebuilding coils

I have an Eleaf GS tank on my Eleaf iStick 40TC using the Ni 0.15 ohm coils, and the Ego One Mega tank on my Evic VT with the CL Ni coils, I'm going to get the CLR Ni in the near future and have never built, or even re-wicked a coil before, so I'll be needing some advice for both of those!

I've dismantled one of the coils for my GS16S, and came to the rapid conclusion that it would be far easier to just continue buying them. Which GS tank are you using?

Wish I could help you out here, Leopards, but I don't have either of those tanks... I will say that youtube is a good resource for getting an idea of what you are getting yourself into, though... I'm a hands-on and visual learner, so watching a video while following along with my own parts helps me when I'm having trouble with something.

I'm afraid I don't know anything about rebuilding factory coils either. I'm sure someone who does will be along shortly. Welcome to the board.

I think you should consider a full RTA (RBA) atomizer. It's going to be so much easier and better in the long run.

I agree with djsvapour rebuilding coils is alot easier in a rta or rba tanks or its probably a good idea to get yourself a rda to start learning how to build coils. Again like above YouTube is a great place to watch and learn about coil builds I'd start there hope this helps

I rebuild the clr coils but only with kanthal...not ni. There are youtube videos for some basic ideas. The clr rebuilds very similar to the old protank II coils, which is what I began rebuilding on so it was easy for me. Most of the time I just use the clr coils as they come...just like any replaceable coil...they are pretty cheap. I just like to have the ability to rebuild for the vapocolypse.

The Eleaf GS Tank which seems to have been pretty much specifically built for the Eleaf iStick 40W TC, not any version of the GS Air tank, though they do use the same coils, so If it works for one it should work for all of them.
