Hi all, I am relatively new to e cigs. I bought a blu starter about a year ago. I really liked not having to mess with the carts just pop a new one one and your ready to go. I have no desire to fill my own. But, I had a lot of problems with my blu batteries and charger. Can any one recommend a starter that will word similar to the blue, but be better quality more vapor.

Thanks
Zip

I started with a KR808D-1. And like you, wanted more. I mean, it did the job but I just wanted better. So a year later, I finally bit the bullet and saved my money and got THE BEST. Yeah, it cost a LOT and it took a while to save the money up but now my vaping experience is perfect; I couldn't ask for anything better. Get a Provari with a tank. It's cheaper than what you would spend on cigarettes every month anyway and you will have ZERO problems. Provari&MS.jpg

Smokeless image volt are some great pen styles that produce tons of vapor and last a long time per charge. You can buy the cartos prefilled or blank. You van obviously buy prefilled and refill yourself too.

I don't know what kind of charging case they use now. They used to include a pocket sized charging carrying case but then they switched to a mega size one that was just simply not very practical. They may have figured that out by now and have a new smaller case, but I'm just speculating. You should check their site.

Smokeless Image is a very good 808 style battery, the Volt. I like the flavors of the prefilled carts and I like it in the liquids, too. They have also added a new step up battery, a mid-size or "big battery" that can use either the carts or the clearomizers and has a little more power and vapor, called the X2. I own multiples of both styles, use both daily, and the X2 is a nice step up with 808 threading. The X2 has its own passthrough/charging cable that can be used with the wall adapter or other usb port. It's recommended to have the 1.5A wall adapter.

They have two pcc's (personal charging cases), the original Volt slider case that will charge one battery and has room for either another battery or for a couple of carts. They also have their "v2" - version two - of the mega pcc, and it really isn't too bad, it's the one I carry. Has room to charge one battery, carry another, plus three carts. The slider case is about the size of a smart phone, the mega v2 a little thicker, but not much larger overall. I purchased their neoprene sleeve to protect mine. The wall adapter and usb charger also work very well, haven't had any problems with any of mine.

From what I'm hearing, it's sooo easy to upgrade from Blu! If you want something similar but more dependable, here's another vote for Smokeless Image (Volt). They're 2nd gen 808s, which means they'll stay regulated at 3.6V from beginning to end, stay charged longer, an have better draw (due to better switching). Volts are also cheaper (especially with all the sales), come in rad colors and options, carry a great line of accessories, and they last longer. I have gear that I've used everyday since last July that are still going strong, and have not had one problem that their excellent Customer Service couldn't fix (haha, have only needed to call them once). 30-day money back guarantee and 3-month warranty on hardware (except cartos). The 78mms stay charged for 2-3 hours (I chain vape hard) and their horizontal coil cartos have outperformed/outlasted all the other cartos I've tried. SI also seems to keep coming up with new technology, with no compatability issues (all their stuff play nicely with each other). Their newest thing is the X2 fat batt and clearomizers, which seems to be getting rave reviews.

Here's another vote for Smokeless Image! Their new XL batteries are very good and the Clearomizers make it easy to try new juices. You can see what's left and not guess if you are doing proper refill maintenance on the Carto.

Have recommended to six people so far and they are just as pleased/obsessed. (you get Volt Shopping Points when a referral makes a purchase)

Customer Service is outstanding and shipping is speedy.

Plus they have a 3 month warranty policy.

Their 555 is my favorite juice but others rave about the RY4.

I don't have a lot of experience with different brands, but I got started around Christmas with a Revolver G2 and it's pretty nice (at least from my very limited perspective). I fill my own carto's both to save money and because it allows me to get higher quality cartomizers than the pre-filled ones. It's not as inconvenient as I thought it would be.

Hope you find something you like!

I tried the Blu and wasn't happy with it. I'm using the Smokeless Image Volt now. I have the 78mm automatic batteries (probably have about 6 of them) and just got the X2 bigger battery and clearomizer. I love the big battery for all day use without charging, but still carry my 78mm autos for when I go out and want to be less conspicuous. Both models produce much better vapor, flavor, and are more reliable than the Blu ever was.

I hadn't heard that they're regulated to vape at a constant voltage from the first draw to the last.
Good to know.
