Hi :) Welcome to the forum! LOL! I just moved from Fremont in October :)

It depends on what you want your kit to be able to do? Do you like to tinker with stuff or do you just want it to be grab-n-go? Do you smoke a lot or just socially? Do you use a computer a lot or are you usually away from someplace where you can recharge your electronics? Are you on a budget?

There are two kits that I'm recommending right now:

• Riva lite bundle from liberty flights (size of a small cigar, more fiddly, battery lasts almost all day, can be used a bunch of ways) $30 after the 20% discount button.

• KR808D-1 (aka vaporking) from vapor4life (similar in size to a cigarette, easy to use grab-n-go, batteries won't last as long so you'll want to get the charging case with it) $35-$100 depending on what you get in the kit - more if you want the charging case, less if you don't.

It's hard to figure out what's right for you if you've never tried anything to see what you don't like about it.

I've gone to an eGo for long battery life, a must for me, and to have lots of options for cartos, atties etc. The many options is a mixed blessing; I've spent a lot of money trying things I don't like, but I think I'm happy with the Mega atties now. Cartos are not for me, I've decided.

I think an inexpensive 510 kit might be a good way to start as you still have a lot of options to add to it and if you decide to go with an eGo later, your atties, cartos, whatever will fit it too. If, however, you know you want a longer battery life and don't mind a larger size, you should consider the eGo.

Keep in mind, I'm not saying the eGo is the absolute best thing out there for everyone; it's what's right for me. That's why I'll recommend an inexpensive kit to start so you can find out what you don't like about it and can then make a more informed choice about what's right for YOU.

What Rosa said. I ordered an Riva 510 lite bundle kit from Liberty Flights for a relative and got it for $32.98 including shipping and I live on the opposite coast from California. They got it to me in 4 days USPS. The Riva comes with 2.2 ohm atomizers and 750mah batteries, both a plus.

Stay away from automatic batteries and Ecigs that look like cigarettes (white with a brown tip is bad). People will think you are smoking a cigarette. The Ego and Riva are obviously not styled like a cigarette and you can get by with stealth vaping almost everywhere.
