Hi everyone. I've been a long time lurker here and finally decided to join the forum.

I first was directed to this forum in October 2011. Did a good amount of reading and for my first kit I decided upon the 510 kit. It worked well until the atomizers started acting funny and I eventually just quit vaping.

Fast forward to October 2012, I decided to give it another try. This time I skipped the starter kit and went with two Ego Twist 1000mah and a vivi nova. What a huge difference this made. It's been a great experience since then and I'm never going back to the Black and Milds I used to smoke. I ended up getting an ITaste MVP and am still using my Vivi Nova with a head that I built last week. A friend of mine has a sigelei ZMax that read my ohms in at 1.7 and honestly I enjoy using the head I built better than the ones from that I've been ordering.

Now I'm holding out on any purchases until I can afford a Provari. I'm still trying to decide between the mini with the Kir Fanis extension or to just get the full sized one and get a different 18350 down the road.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to being a part of this forum, and thank you to all the helpful people here.

I also followed a similar path. Little 510's are not a bad start, but the big boy toys will make you stick with it in the end. Congrats on giving up analogs, and best of luck on your journey to get a ProVari!

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone, and you're right- I plan on sticking with vaping for a long time. It's been almost 4 months going for me and I have not had a second thought. Also, after quitting smoking I find it very hard to be inside with people when they are smoking. The smell is overwhelming and it just gives me a headache after a couple of minutes.

Just ordered the same set-up (except mini nova). Should be here today or tomorrow! Can't wait! This should be a huge step up from my V2 kit...

What a shame that the Twist and Nova were not available in 2011. Many things were vastly improved in 2012 and this year will, no doubt, have many Great improvements as well (VW ProVari?).

Many people have tried e-cigs before and given up on them because they performed poorly. I'm Glad you made it back. Help spread the word that things are improving, so others can be helped.

I found for the first little while, the smell of analogs nearly killed me. Now, the smell makes me nauseous. I have no desire to be near them or smoke them ever again. It's a struggle, no doubt. But we can all overcome it.

As of now I've managed to convert a few people by letting them try mine. My brother, sister, brother in law, and two friends are all vaping now instead of smoking and I have two other friends that are looking to make the switch soon. Coming back after a year with some basic knowledge and seeing how much simpler devices like egos have improved (the only egos when I first tried vaping were the ego and ego-t) really drew me into giving it another shot, and I'm really happy I did.
