Ok so after reading the forum I have decided upon the vivi nova 3.5 tank and a eco twist 1000mah.

Ordered some Vanilla and Coconut juice, as I have always used tobacco flavours before.

Thanks for all the help guys.

I know that I am going to end up with a provari eventually but I have to do a bit of research and some testing because I dont know what will be the best to sit on top???

To ask which is the best Atty/RBA is like asking which car is the best(and what color)... :) After buying 10+ RBAs, I couldn't tell you which one for certain. So many variables. I personally like the Terminator-C. but it takes work to prepare the wick and coil. What do you want? do you want ease of use, or the best vape available? Do you have the time to learn about coil dimensions and resistance, not to mention you don't have to just vape on silica. There's cotton, hemp, bamboo, stainless steel as well. I typed this to show that there are a lot of options :)

The Vivi nova is a great choice. It delivers 80-90 percent of the taste at a fraction of the cost of an RBA :) I still have and use all my novas regularly.

Also: Although the Vivi are not true Rebuildables they are a great intro into the world of rebuilding. Have a look a PBusardo's youtube vivi nova rebuild video.

I have read that the vivi nova uses a lot of juice but I decided I wanted to go for vape quality and flavour and from the info available this seems to be best budget choice for both.

I only ordered 2 flavours as this is my first time straying from tobacco flavour so gonna ease myself into the new ones.

Jazzy - that's the kinda research I'm going to be doing. I want the best vape available so yeah I will make time to learn about the tech side. Although at the moment I am a complete novice and have bought everything off the shelf, the only experience I have is with replacing coil heads in my old kingo clearo. I don't even know what to order to replace the thing inside my current tank???

I was always a menthol smoker--and have stuck to menthol / peppermint vaping...but today I got a lime flavor---yum...loving it. Could replace my constant menthol! I have not strayed until now from my smoking preference...but I think it is gonna be good!....Oh yeah...I did try a wine vape and it was especially good while drinking wine!

Did your vivi come with extra heads? (1.8 ohm, 2.4 ohm, etc)? The resistance is typically printed on the heads.
When your voltage is fixed (like your eGo) at 3.7-3.9 volts, then the following applies:
1.8 ohms provides the warmest vape, whereas 3.0 ohms would be a lower temperature.

I find the 1.8 ohm doesn't last quite as long as the higher ohmed ones do, but only by a matter of a few days. Not even sure if this applies :)

The vivis are easy to rebuild. I found 32awg A1 Kanthal heating wire to be very versatile. I use it in most of my RBAs and vivis. Some prefer the smaller guage (34-36awg) which I find too small. It vapes great, but not as easy to re-use. I have some coils that I've re-used at least 10 times over 4 months. Kanthal really lasts. Kanthal is sold all over the place, Ebay, Amazon, etc.

I don't use silica, so I can't give you any specifics on where to get it.
I personally prefer cotton, but like I mentioned earlier, there are pros and cons. Cotton has a really nice pillowy vape, but if you hit it dry once, poof! back to rebuilding. Hemp twine is much tougher, but there's a slight earthy taste that may not appeal to you. Also there is Stainless steel, but I don't care for the metallic taste that comes with it. I've tried many different methods, but I just can's shake the metal.

Great thing is, you have the vast experience of many people who have tried all sorts of different methods and brought their thoughts here to ECF. :)

@hope1: My daily vape is peppermint with a touch of menthol. Tastes great with every medium (cotton, hemp) except bamboo.. omg.. that mix tastes horrible on bamboo :blink Lot's of options in the vaping world my friends :)
