@gard....you simply have proven my point...the heads are wasted if you throw them away...I've never once had to throw a head away...and at their price if you are going to treat them add disposable you might as well buy cartos and a decent carto tank....

Ok, I see your point now. I agree that the heads should be kept for rebuilding, however they don't need to be. Price doesn't make something disposable or not. There are many people out there that would pay the price for new heads rather then fuss with rebuilding. Just because it can be rebuilt doesn't mean you must rebuild it.

I don't use cartos personally, so I don't know how long they last, but I thought it was just a few days. My vivi heads have lasted 3 weeks so far. I would think that longevity is the goal (aside from the obvious taste and vapor production).

Yeah, I went a little crazy and ordered a bunch of extra heads when I first got the vivi fever. I have been using one for over three weeks pretty heavily, and it is still working really well. I may take a stab at rebuilding it myself, but for now, I am good to go with a new one when needed. They are really well made, and I have no issue with them aside from the fact that they seem to suck up juice pretty fast. Does anybody else notice that they are juice whores?

In Germany we like the Vivi too. Most of my vaping friends got one and I rebuild it myself. They need a lot of juice and need often to be cleaned, I always got some smokey taste after a few days of smoking. And they don´t like more voltage then 3,6-3,7 V @ 2-2.,4 ohms, more is not good for taste too. Because of that I´m looking for a rebuildable ss tank, you can rebuilt the vivi but it isn´t made for that...

I picked up a mini did clone for $20, good entry into RBA/Genesis style atties. Vape is great compared to my vivi, but because there's no clear tank (yet) I still use the vivi when I leave the house. The genesis style is also a little more sensitive, so I wouldn't want to go banging it around and have to fix a short.

a good carto can last two or three weeks before needing to be replaced or cleaned, and yes they can be cleaned....I have a couple of ikenvape cartos that have been going for a month...it depends on what you get....as far as carto vs.nova, the vapor production blows a nova away, the flavor is on par (some people are sensitive to carto filler flavor though)...and once you get a tank set-up together, will vape the entire tank completely instead of turning half of the juice in there to dark caramelized sludge that is basically flavorless and not exactly vapable....

I dont use cartos anymore - got too many duds and switched to clearos. I know the sludge you talking about in clearo and vivi's - so are you saying that cartos have no sludge - or just cant see it? I find it hard to believe there is nothing left behind in the filler in cartos.....as far as vapor production - I think depends on the juice and the device - I use a YJ and vape Johnson creek red oak line.....flavor and vape production is great....also it seems like when using cotton or bamboo wicks - the sludge is not as bad.....

I'm not saying there isn't any, what I am saying is that the juice is vaporized more consistently and thoroughly...like I've said you can clean them and I personally have a few that have gone for a month or more....

Definitely sludge left in cartos. Clean one to the best of your ability then let it dry totally. Pull the stuffing out with tweezers and look at what's still lurking at the bottom. Nasty looking stuff.

that is dependant on if it's a vertical coil or horizontal coil...vertical coils have more filler (down to the bottom) and the coil is actually entwined in the filler...in my own experience,I really do not like bottom coil cartos and would never recommend them...and I've never had an issue getting at least one successful cleaning out of a carto that was a vertical coil.

for some reason, i'm drawn away from the vivi nova tanks because the taste is really off for me... i dont know what it is but the taste change is drastically different from my carts and dripped on my cheap atomizers... is the break in that important or am i on too high of a wattage?

you are fine, some people, just like me, we don't care for clearomizers. i own a vivi nova, i use one, but i don't necessarily like it, there are simply better juice delivery systems around....everything has it's flaws, you just have to find the ones you are OK with dealing with.

I am in Vivi Heaven. My Mini Vivi Nova and it's bigger brother came in the mail today from GotVapes and I've been breaking them in for the last hour.

The verdict is in and I AM IN LOVE! Excellent draw, perfect throat hit, great flavor, & tons of vapor.

I'm probably going to order one more Viva Nova and 3 more of the Mini Vivi's.

I one happy vaping camper right about now.:vapor:

Watch the threads on the tank. Very small and thin. If they get mashed or stripped at all they leak like crazy! I ordered aluminum tanks for mine to keep this from happening again.

Six pages on the Vivi novas and most everyone seem to like them, but not one person mentions they are made in China which is where Vision is located. So with that out of the way, why would you order form inside the United States? If you are not in a hurry for it you may as well order from Zainy in china who sells a 3 pack for $21.00

3sets exchangeable cartomizer Vision mini vivi nova 2.5ml clearomizer - Zainy - Electronic Cigarettes

I was thinking of trying the Mini Vivi, but i bet my Kanger T2 works just as good and holds the same amount of juice.
