Hi Anna, thanks for the welcome. I've only been vaping since March 13th of this year. Smoked cigarettes for forty-nine years. I tried everything I could to stop and nothing worked until I tried e-cigs. Now I have the Smok Nord and soon will be upgrading to a box mod and rta. I think I've decided on the Wotofo Chieftain but I'm unsure which tank I want. Looking at the Profile Unity, and the CP RTA by ADVKIN. Not really interested in big sub-ohm clouds, just big tobacco flavor and a tank with coils that last and wicks that I can replace myself. I like to tinker so an easy buildable that won't frighten an old newb would be a good place for me to start. Thanks again!
Hello from the southern end of IL, originally from up your way. Welcome to the community.
Welcome aboard - as an ex 50 year + smoker I can assure you it can be done and you won't be spending the rest of your life wishing you could have a cigarette. Get a good tank, a good mod to run on it and look at your vaping technique and you'll be fine. You'll probably find in a short time you won't even want the tobacco flavoured juices!

Thanks Falconeer! I look forward to exploring new flavors one day. Maybe even mixing a few recipes at some point. I have a way to go, tho. I'm just itching to get a rig stout enough to deliver good flavor for more than a few days before swaping out coils. I like the Nord, but, even though I'm careful not to smoke the wicks they only deliver flavor for a short time. It's a nice little pod but I'm already wanting more.

The chieftain is a fairly old mod in that it uses 26650 batteries which have become somewhat hard to find. I would suggest something that takes 2x700 batteries instead as those are easier to get.
If it’s what you’re just going to get though it will take a 30mm atty. my personal favorite 30mm is the aromamizer plus. It is not super easy to wick though. I could not get it to wick right at all until I hit on wicking the decks outside of the tank, and trimming them from underneath the deck.
