OK Got mine today...great shipping time! The vapor is great; it looks very cool; BUT I am getting a nasty burned taste. I blew out the atomizers, tried refilling a blank cartridge, etc. etc. I have been using exclusively KR808's for some time now, so maybe that is how it's supposed to taste??? I'm hoping it is user error, so if anyone can hop in and offer some knowledge, I would love that. It is way too harsh at the moment. Advice please

Sherid - I've had the exact same problem with mine. Love the vapor and TH but these attys taste really bad. I've tried everything from cart mods to direct dripping. I ordered an adapter to try the batts with my 510 attys, and some 801 cartos. The battery threads seem to be to big for either the adapter or the cartos. I'm afraid this is going in a drawer which makes me very sad. I just don't know what else to do.

I believe it is the cartridges themselves causing the issue. I started dripping on the atomizer with the cartridges off and only the whistle tip. It is much better that way. Unfortunately, I like cartridges and hate messing constantly with liquid. My hope was that since the cartridges are so large I could get all of the benefits of cartomizers with the added bonuses of it looking like a cig and not a big old mod. The more powerful battery was my incentive as well. I ordered some 801 cartomizers to see if that works.

used the HP all day yesterday and today (0 nic juice), I like it. I ordered a High Voltage 801 atomizer and tried it out briefly last night but I was too tired to really mess with it. It screwed on fine and fired ok. I literally just puffed it for a few seconds so I can't say if it was a success because I didn't take the time to make sure it was wet enough. I will meter the atomizers at some point or shawn could give us that info as I don't own a working meter. So far I have to say I like it. It is a very nice experience, I have run into a problem with one of the supplied atomizers. It was working fine, I put it in my pocket, then when I tried to use it again the battery light flashed red. So I just thought I had used up the battery so I changed it. That battery did the same thing. So I pulled out the other atomizer as I had just charged the 2nd battery and both batteries worked fine. So circuitry is telling the batteries that atomizer is bad. Now if had popped I would of felt it activate in my pocket. I might try boiling the atty and see what that does. Overall I'm very impressed with the new HP 801s and can't wait to see them come to 510 connections. (oh and I love the draw of the auto battery, just right IMO)
