HV attys are meant to be used with 2- 3.7v making 7.2-7.4v on a 6v device for best operation. imo.

I have used them on 5 and dont care for them.

I have used them with 2 rcr123a 3v make 6-6.6v amd they are ok but work best at higher voltages like 7v-7.4.

They last a lot longer and you dont get the burnt taste that you do with regular attys..

They are worth giving a try imo.

The number of most importance is the watts. Contrary to popular belief, its not the starting volts of the supply that matter. It is the resiatance of the circuit and amps the power source is able to supply. All this hype about a 5v sweet spot is useless. The "sweet spot" is around 10 watts of power. With these custom resistance atties(designed by Cisco) you can achieve the desired wattage(sweetspot) to your liking. So if your sweet spot is 10 watts(aka 5v) then a set of 2 x CR123@3v and a 4.9 ohm atomizer is for you. Or if you prefer a little stiff use 2 x CR123@3.7 volt for a 15 watt vape with the said atty. My advise to you, buy one of each common reistance(HV) atty and try different combos of batt/atty.
